Best of Germany

It is very busy and a lot of sitting time on a bus (road travel). Bring plenty of $1 Euro or $2 Euros for use of public bathrooms during rest stops. … that service is NOT free. City highlights were great sights and provided great photo ops. Make the MOST of your free time in a city to take in the culture!! You must try the “pig knuckle”.

, the Tour Director was fantastic, informative and considerate. The tour was well organized, reasonably paced and the sites visited would need a lot of research to see independently. Hotels were good, bus travel comfortable. Well worth travelling with Trafalgar for Best of Germany tour

Busy itinerary but covered so much! A crash course in history for sure. Would be nice to be able to spend a little bit more time in Munich and not in a Sunday where everything is closed. That is the one place that could improve. Also the hotel in the black forest was nice, but because of it being a Monday the Biergarten was closed so there was not place to spend time with our fellow travelers

It was a amazing trip meet wonderful people and doing amazing things with a travel leader Emmo and our amazing bus driver tibor I would do this again

The itinerary was perfect. All the hotels were great and the staff was very hospitable all the special guides were excellent . The bus driver was exceptionally couldn’t have been better and our tour guide more perfect. His knowledge of Germany’ s history and how to keep us safe was perfect. This trip was an excellent introduction to the German history. Our guide . was a great source of information about every historical city that we stopped at. Greatly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in German history.

The trip was wonderful! We learned so much about the history and culture of the cities and towns. We had time on our own to explore and interact with the locals which we enjoy doing.

This was our 2nd Trafalger tour and it was great. We did all of the included and optional experiences and we were glad we did. We felt that we were able to see enough sites and we learned a lot about Germany’s past and present. The tour director, was exceptional. She was knowledgeable about Germany and all of the places we visited and she shared so much information about Germany. She was committed to keeping everyone in our group safe and informed and kept the tour running smoothly. We will definitely travel with Trafalger again.

Everything was great with one small exception. Sunday in Munich when the city was pretty much shut down was the only less than excellent part.
