In general, we enjoyed the trip and its itinerary except the day that traveling from Budva Montenegro to Sarajevo Bosnia. This journey was horribly too long. We did not have our dinner until after 9 PM.
This is a tour that visits countries still recovering from communist rule. Don't expect ultra modern hotels, although the hotels we stayed in were clean and efficient. Luggage was always brought up to our rooms in decent time. Breakfast was always buffet style, a little cold most of the time, but served it's purpose. Traffic was a bit of a issue, a lot of winding mountain roads, but we stopped lots to take a break. This is a very good tour and I would recommend it to those who love history and really nice scenery.
This trip provides access to the majority of countries in the Balkans region.
I was told to buy a transfer unnecessarily for the end of the tour. I never used the transfer and went on the free bus, which I was originally told the time was not right for me. I am still waiting to hear from Trafalgar about a refund for this.
