Frequently asked questions relating to this tour or destination.
Ready to experience Nepal’s legendary Annapurna Circuit in a truly unique way? The "Annapurna Circuit via Kang La and Nar" tour is a 15-day trekking and hiking adventure starting and ending in Kathmandu, designed for those craving both challenge and discovery along one of the Himalaya’s most scenic trails.
This thoughtfully curated trip avoids the busy, road-accessed sections of the classic circuit, instead detouring through the remote Nar and Phu valleys—ancient Tibetan enclaves only recently opened to trekkers. Here, prayer flags, mani walls, and centuries-old villages provide a rare and intimate glimpse into Buddhist culture, far from the crowds.
Trek through dramatic alpine landscapes, ascend the little-known Kang La Pass (5,320m), and rejoin the main circuit to cross the iconic Thorong La Pass (5,416m). The descent leads you into the windswept Mustang region and the awe-inspiring depths of the Kali Gandaki Gorge.
A key USP of this trekking tour is its commitment to low-impact, locally led travel, employing more local people through a fully supported camping experience and spreading the benefits of tourism to remote communities. All meals, high-quality trek gear, and expert guides are included for peace of mind and safety.
For experienced travelers seeking a challenging, culture-rich trek through Nepal’s most spectacular mountain scenery—without the crowds—this tour package is the ultimate Himalayan adventure.
Another incredible trip in the Himalayas with World Ex. Sanjay and the entire team were extraordinary dealing with extremely fluctuating weather and illnesses in the group. The wilderness camp sites were a highlight being away from other trekkers and in spectacular locations. Absolutely faultless, and I cannot recommend this company any higher to go trekking with!
A great trip, and a once in a lifetime experience to see an experience Nepal and the Himalayas. Sanjay and his team make the experience truly unforgettable. My only minor constructive feedback is I would suggest the difficulty of the hike is slightly upgraded, as given the terrain and altitude - I would have ranked the experience at closer to moderate/ challenging.
Thanks to Bhim and his team for providing great support over the trek. The scenery was superb and the food, tents and hotel accommodation excellent.
Bhim a good Leader and a good Team
Very well supported trekking trip with an amazing team from the leader to porters, sherpas and the kitchen crew in a remote area with unmatched views.
What a life changing experience. The team was amazing and we felt very well supported and looked after throughout the trip. Our leader Harker did an amazing job! Please be mindful that this is not an easy trek. Very challenging terrain, especially if you have never trekked in the Himalayas before.
