Annapurna Circuit Trek

We had an absolutely amazing time on our Annapurna circuit trek. We were a group of 4 together with our guide Binod and porters Depesh and Ashok. They took great care of us, taught us a lot about the Annapurna region and most of all made sure we were all having fun. Great people and truly amazing views. Highly recommend!

I went on the Annapurna Circuit and to Poon Hill mid November to beginning of December with this local travel specialist and I could not be more happy about my choice. In total we were on the road for 15 days. It was a truly amazing experience that created memories for a lifetime and was breathtaking in every sense. From the Circuit to Poon Hill the landscapes were just mesmerizing and had so much to offer. I was traveling solo together with Basu who guided me well with his experience. Basu is a very experienced and knowledgeable guide who made sure I felt safe and comfortable at all times and also was of great support when I did not feel well during the trekk. He made small changes to the itinerary where needed to adjust to my pace and energy level. I couldn't have asked for a better guide for this trekk and will definitely come back for more adventures! Thank you for making this experience so truly unique.

My friend and i did the Annapurna Circuit Trek on april 2022 with them and absolutely loved it! Having a guide allow us to keep our head empty and not always have to think about wich way to take, where to eat and where to sleep. We had an amazing experience with our guide, he was friendly, he answered all our questions and he adapted the circuit for us and our needs. I highly recommand this company. This is my second time to Nepal, and I have to say that Bashu far and away the best guide I have ever had. His briefings every evening and the following morning were concise and clear, the pace he went at was very appropriate for the group (we were quite strong), while making sure that we didn't overexert to stave off the worst of the altitude. I contracted diarrhoea on the 2nd day and immediately he banned me from milk and meat, and kept me well until after we did the pass. He went so far as to compel me to use my sunglasses to prevent snow-blindness. There was another trekker who was by herself and she had contracted frostbite and Bashu attended to her immediately. On the route, he was able to advise when to take transport so avoid road walking (it was dry and there was a lot of dust). When we flew from Pokhara to Kathmandu, unlike other guides, Bashu came along and was able to mitigate the worst effects of the flight cancellations from the fog. The efficacy of his instruction was the envy of many of the other trekkers, who didn't hesitate to appeal to him. Bashu worked extremely well with the porter Suman, who really fulfilled the role of an assistant guide rather than a porter. His English was superb and he knew the itinerary and route like the back of his hand. I felt we were lucky to get the both of them but this could be part of the training that the Company has organized for their employees. Overall, this trip was worth every penny and I look forward to travelling with Bashu again!

The guide was great. He fed us a ton of food and booked us into many wonderful tea-houses.

Challenging at times but very rewarding with wonderful landscapes, mountain views and ginger/lemon/honey tea!!

My wife and I returned to Nepal for a trekking in Annapurna Circuit in November, following a satisfied EBC trekking tour last May. The reason we returned to the same tour operator was that they not only provided a reasonable price, but also a thoughtful service. I noticed my wife and I were the only group that has an exclusive mixed fruit platter for desert every night, it drew other groups envy and provide dietary fibers, vitamins, what could be better than that after eating a reach Dal Bhat meal Upon booking, as usual, Chhatra answered all my questions with prompt reply, as we are in USA, due to the time zone difference, we need to wait till Nepals day time but I always got answer ready from Chhatra when I woke up in the morning, love this certainties. We requested Kumar as our guide for Annapurna trip as we had great experience with him last year, he is a professional yet very entertaining guide. Steered us from the danger zone in Chola Pass last year, and shown us the tricks to tackle with the length Thorong La Pass (5416m), as a photographer, I am hesitate to ask others for taking pictures for us, but I had no doubt giving the job to Kumar, he can manage most of the camera and mobile phone cameras and always shot photos for my liking.Annapurna has better eating experience compare to EBC, and Kumar knows which tea houses has the best local food, and provided us options and suggestions for each of our meals, what an honest guy! Plus, before and after meals, Kumar always show us the available games in the tea house and taught them to us as we were not familiar.

I decided to go through a company for my trek after much debating and I am very happy that I did. Firstly, it was really nice to have guides, Sandeep and Basu, who knew the route and could help with the language barrier. Secondly, they made sure we stayed together and no one got left behind when some of our group members started to feel sick. Thirdly, there were some places we stayed at were harder to get room at and during those times they sent the porters ahead to make sure we got room. The rest of the time they would call the night before hand to reserve rooms so when we got there our rooms were ready. The trek itself was challenging but was planned out so that you never had to push yourself to complete a day. Our guides were also good at reading how the group was doing and altering the plan accordingly. The food on the trek was excellent and filling. Our guides, Sandeep and Basu, had done the trail many times and were well informed. They were always ready and able to answer our questions. They were both also very fun and always up for a joke or a game of cards. When one of our group got sick, they responded appropriately and made sure the sick person had everything they needed (lots of ginger tea). Also when we were struggling with the last day of downhill, they changed the plan and got a car earlier so we didn't injure ourselves. All in all they were very attentive and excellent guides. I did not use a porter but other people in our group did. Our porters were Bishnu and Santose (spelling) and they were great. They were both friendly and didn't hesitate to communicate with us even though their English wasn't as strong. They were really nice and walked with us most of the time. When one of the people in our group was struggling they didn't hesitate to take their bag for the rest of the day. All in all I had a great time on my trek and would not hesitate to suggest someone else to use this company.

Fantastic trek with a fantastic guide called Santos. Highly recommend and will definitely use eco adventure tours again.

The circuit is beautiful and and challenging. There are tea houses to stay in along the entire length of the journey. If trekking/hiking is your thing then definitely do this trek!

The Annapurna Circuit Trek is for someone whos looking to see something differently everyday. From lush green forests to snow cappped mountains. This trek has it all. Your albe to experience the different cultures along the way. Your constantly getting rewarded.

Annapurna Circuit is a so amazing place that you are surrounded by many beautiful high mountains.

The trek was set up by Chattra. I had undertaken a knee replacement five and a half months before the trek and was a little anxious if I would manage ok (I had been training and was in good shape) - this was relayed to Chattra. We (Mary, Julie, Rob and Mike) were set up with two Porters (Vishnu and Kumar) and a guide (Nir). All arrangements for jeep/bus travel were arranged and paid for in advance. Our guide Nir was excellent. He spoke English well and was experienced and well respected wherever we went. He advised us to purchase spikes and gaiters due to snow at the pass, which proved invaluable. The walk was well paced, stopping for breaks regularly and Nir advised us what to eat and drink to avoid stomach upset. He constantly monitored us for Altitude Sickness, recording the information daily. We cleared over the Thorong La pass and encountered headaches and some nausea at the top, which cleared when we descended (it seemed everyone, not just in our group, was affected some how). As the trek circuit went on we made some adjustments to our days, to best make use of our time, and Nir facilitated this easliy with no fuss. Rob had one difficult day after we cleared the pass with flu like symptoms and fatigue. He soldiered on and Vishnu (our strong and quiet porter) stuck to him like glue to ensure he didn't stumble or fall when descending from Ghorepani. Rob was immensely grateful to Vishnu for this as he felt rotten at the time. We finished with two nights in Pokhara and one night in Kathmandu. Nir continued to advise us taking us to great local eateries and made sure we paid the right price. Each evening throughout the trek he briefed us in detail as to the arrangements ahead and told us stories of myth and legend, also of the socio-political structure of Nepal, with as impartial a view as he could. The team who shepherded us along the trail were first class. The trail itself was breathtaking with views that were both colossal and awe inspiring. The villages were from a time gone by and the food was simple and tasty. The sanitary arrangements were basic and would not be to everyone's liking. Some days were long and need a fair degree of fitness to manage. This trek is not for the faint hearted, but for those who can manage, the rewards are truly fantastic. My knee was not a problem throughout - no pain or swelling (thanks Dr Andrew Hodge).

Our trip around the Annapurna Circuit was amazing! Our guide was experienced and knowledgeable, accommodations were well thought out and adequate. I hope to visit again on a different trek!

The circuit trek was really beautiful, with diverse views each day. I had not done much trekking before (a few overnights) and found it not too difficult, save for the day of the pass. Good amount of time to get a real sense of Nepali culture

Such a wonderful experience! Landscape is stunning and diverse, changing according to the altitude. Treks are challenging and fun. Tea houses and lodges offer basic acomodation, food is abundant and spicy... and you get to experience native culture in Nepal

The trek was a wonderful experience in every way. The views were stunning everywhere we went, and we were constantly impressed by the diversity of the landscapes and cultures. Our guides Raj and Deepen were extremely informative, and along with the porters, went above and beyond at every opportunity. Highly recommend doing this trek with this company. We will definitely be coming back to do another trek.

One downside of the trek is that quite a bit of it goes on dusty roads with the occasional car passing by and lifting the dust in the air, but the views, the good company (the group I traveled with was pretty awesome) and the challenge of the trek surpass this only negative. If there was one thing I would have done differently, it would be to take a thermos with hot water for going over the pass. If you don't deal well with cold, hand warmers are advisable too. Really enjoyed every bit of the trek as it is not only the mountain views that surrounded us, but we also visited villages and temples which offered a real exchange of ideas... Highly recommend, don't think anyone would regret completing this trek!

Insanely beautiful trek and very well organised company. Our guide Bijay was terrific. He was incredibly kind, fun-loving, positive, had a breadth of knowledge about the region, and always took the time to make sure we were safe, happy and well hydrated. The trek would not have been so successful without the hearty energy of our guide Bijay, our assistant guide Raaz and the insanely strong porters. Both accommodation and food were excellent, the fresh fruit after dinner every night was also such a lovely treat! Wonderful trek, perfect guide, experience of a life time!

The trek was beautiful, but unfortunately my friend got altitude sickness. We did not Complete it, but walked back part of the trip. We asked the guide if we could og in from the other side, but he would not assist us in that.

I did the Annapurna circuit trekking early on July 2018, during the monsoon season. It was my first time in Nepal and first time trekking on a long + high altitude like this. Due to the monsoon, the rain was present in some days, which added an extra challenge. Also, some mountain views got affected by the clouds, but the trek overall had beautiful landscapes, and the experience was worthwhile for sure. Nikhil was my guide, and he was very friendly, supportive and gave important information. He knows a lot about the route and the local people. During many times his support was second to none and made the difference in order to move on. He is a very positive and funny person, and we had a great time together. The meals and accommodation were proper along the way. I will certainly come back for Everest Base Camp or even Annapurna again, but this time on Fall/Winter.

The trek is so beautiful. Even our guide bijay and porter basu were so friendly and nice. Bejay told us so many things about the area and was always so helpful. We had an amazing time here. Will come back for the EBC!

We (me and a friend) found this trek through searching online and we are so glad we did. Firstly after booking it we had very useful email communication with Chhatra and met him in Thamel where he gave us further information and advice as well sorting our permits. We also had the opportunity to meet our awesome guide, Narayan, before the trek started to say hello. He was the perfect guide from start to finish sorting everything out that we needed and more! Unfortunately after the bus journey to Ngadi we were very ill and Narayan was extremely understanding and was flexible with leaving times in the morning depending on how we were feeling. Note: we think it could have been the lunch stop on the bus (which wasnt Narayan fault) but just something to be aware of in future. For all of the days trekking he was informative, helpful and took it at our pace! Narayan has an eagle eye for wildlife whilst walking!! He also taught us 2 Nepali card games (kitty and dumbal) which we all had so much fun playing in the evening together! Fresh fruit in the evening (apple and pomegranate) was delicious. He always helped us with choosing food and sorting out the best accommodation! Narayan went above and beyond by helping others we met on the trek who were navigating the circuit themselves. Transport was nearly always seamless even with busy buses/ cancelled buses. We had a great last night in Pokhara and ate at a local place with THE BEST naan bread ever! We are about to meet Narayan in Thamel the day after our trek at a place he recommended for a much needed relaxing post trek massage. All in all, we would highly recommend this company and Narayan in particular as a guide to anyone doing any trekking in Nepal. We are staying in touch with Narayan for any future treks in Nepal as we would not do them without him being our guide!

I just completed the 15-day Annapurna Circuit Trek. I couldn't have chosen a better company to trek with. I went with my best friend Ari and as someone who had never done a big trek before, I was pretty nervous. The tour company made me feel like a seasoned, confident, and well-prepared trekker. Our guide, Raj, was absolutely unbelievable. He not only made me feel safe, but he got me excited everyday for the adventures to come. As a vegan, it can be daunting to travel and not be in charge of your own food. Raj went above and beyond by not only always confirming that we had incredible food to eat, but he even brought us vegan peanut butter cookies at the top of Throng La! I always felt like I could ask Raj anything. I learned a ton from him, had very meaningful conversations and laughed a bunch every day of the trek. Raj was so supportive, and any concerns I had he quickly removed and replaced with a huge smile on my face! Our porter, Hari Chandra, was awesome as well. He carried our belongings up the mountain and with his positive energy, he metaphorically helped carry us up the mountain too. Together our group was outstanding. The best choice ever! I cant wait to hopefully have another adventure with them soon!

We just completed the 15-day Annapurna Circuit trek and were blown away by the whole experience. The company is super organized and Chhatra, the Business Manager at our tour company, is professional and kind. He answered all of our questions before the trek, making us feel confident and safe. The company gave us the gear we needed and took care of all of our permits, lodging, food, and transportation. Our guide, Raj, was absolutely sensational. He went above and beyond what we expected of a guide. Not only was his English excellent and his knowledge of the region extensive, but he made sure we were safe and happy in big and small ways. He checked our oxygen daily, provided us with medication and first aid when we needed it, gave us fresh fruit after every dinner, made sure we had tea whenever we were cold, sang with us on the trail, and laughed at all of our jokes. He is funny, kind, thoughtful, trustworthy, motivating, and hardworking - the best guide weve ever met. Additionally, we couldnt have done this trek without our strong and fearless porter, Hari Chandra. He always had a smile on his face and was beyond helpful - without him our backs would have been broken! We loved getting to know both Raj and Hari Chandra and together it felt like one big family! We highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a safe, meaningful, fun, and transformative experience!

Arun, Bishnu, Raj and Prince made our trek amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure we were safe, happy and had the most amazing time. Arun taught us so much about the Nepali culture and answered all our questions honestly and thoroughly. He made sure we had everything we needed each day and helped with dietary restrictions and allergies. Bishnu is a trekking machine, he also recognized who needed help on what day and payed very close attention to our safety (more than once he had to catch me as I fell). On the night before we crossed Thorongla Pass he didnt sleep because he hiked for 4 hours, in the dark to help one of our fellow travelers who suffered from altitude sickness back down the mountain so he could be airlifted back to Kathmandu. An unfortunate event that had nothing to do with the aptitude of our guides but was handled very safely and quickly. Raj and Prince, our porters, had smiles on their faces all the time, high fived us at the end of each day and carried an amount of weight that amazed me. Today is our last full day of the trek, we are in Pokhara at the moment and I feel so grateful for this amazing experience and at the same time I am so very sad to see it end. I cant put into words how much I am going to miss my Nepali family and how much I recommend this trek with these beautiful people.

Can't recommend enough. Corresponding with Chhatra before the trek over email was easy and he was very helpful and responsive dealing with our (many) questions. Our guide Kumar was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful and our guides Vishnu and Subash were also great company and very kind. Eco arranged for all of our accommodation ahead of time, reviewed our blood oxygen levels every morning and evening ahead of time and also suggested side treks we could go on along the way. The highlight was the fresh fruit after every meal which was the envy of the tea house!

I had an amazing 15 day trek around the Annapurna Circuit with this gem of a company! The itinerary was well organised and suited a variety of fitness levels. Ours was a group of 8 people who all got along really well and this definitely made the trip more enjoyable than it already is. From booking the trek to completing the journey at Pokhara, we were well taken care of every step of the way. Chhatra was quick to reply to any queries I had regarding the trip via email and the packing list and instructions provided by the company was spot on. Our guide Ram and assistant guide Sandeep were professional, dedicated and caring throughout our trip, gently encouraging us when we were feeling tired and worn out during some of the tougher days of the trek and yet remained so positive and energetic themselves throughout the trip. Ram has 20 odd years of trekking experience in the Himalayas under his belt and provided accurate information to our questions peppered with personal anecdotes of his various adventures during this time as a mountain guide. Our porters (Bikram, Ram, Sudeep and Sumrat) worked tirelessly to ensure that our bags arrived safely and yet always had a willing smile on their face despite the heavy load on their back. The camaraderie and friendship that these men have for each other is truly remarkable as they helped each other along what is definitely a tiring and difficult job. The sceneries along the trek was breathtaking and changes almost everyday from lush green forests to snow capped mountains, making this the perfect itinerary for those of us who are into our photography or just looking to enjoy a wide range of views. The teahouses that we stayed in were simple and as clean as they come and the food along the way was delicious and filling. Overall I would say that this is a moderate- difficult trek and would definitely recommend this to anyone relatively fit and looking for a challenge. Would recommend/ order again!

We found Chhatra and the company as a whole to be extremely communicative and straightforward, and the overall experience met, then exceeded our expectations of the circuit. First of all, Nepal and the Himalayas are amazing, but having a great guide and portars made the experience that much better. Lakpa Sherpa, Pemba Sherpa, and Wangchhu Sherpa were funny, protective, knowledgeable, and patient with our group of four, and always made sure we were warm, fed, and full of honey, lemon and ginger tea. We never stayed in a hotel room that Lakpa didn't approve of first, and he even made us momos one night (and they were delicious). I highly recommend this company, these guides, and the Annapurna Circuit!

Any experience is only as good as the people you share it with. Our experience with was outstanding. Booking and payment were all easy and straightforward and the product was exactly what we expected and were promised. What really made this special for us was the quality of the staff. Lakpa Sherpa, and his cousins Pemba and Wangchu were outstanding guides. They were friendly, professional and we loved hanging out with them. While on the trail, we got to see many other groups and guides and we could always see that our team was doing a better job than anyone else out there. I highly recommend this outfit, but more specifically, I recommend these 3 guides/porters because they really made our experience special

It was a great trip although i ended my trip 3 days earlier but the trip was really fun and my guide Man Kumar was a great guide too.

The trek provided was a great experience. With a lot of nice views and nice places to stay. Would definitely recommend this trip. Even for unexperienced trekkers.

Overall a great trek. Got to see many different parts and landscapes of Nepal. The trek was also a good length of time difficulty, not too long or too short. Challenging but achievable for any healthy person.

The trek was beautiful and like nothing I've seen before here in Malaysia. The scenery changed throughout out entire trip from day to day. Definitely worth another trip to Nepal to check out the other treks.

Annapurna circuit was amazing and totally bills up to the hype. It has diverse landscapes, sky reaching high mountains, idyllic mountain villages with plenty of teahouses with friendly people and good food.

It was tough but we really enjoyed the trip with our guide Ramesh and porter Sandeep

Amazing trek, really beautiful with all the mountains and the nature is changing a lot! Especially the wild rhododendrons and Thorong La Pass was amazing.

Annapurna circuit was the perfect trek for me. Two weeks trekking in absolutely beautiful surrundings all the way around. No doubt it was the right choise to do this trip.
