Itinerary

Imagine standing at the heart of the Himalayas, surrounded by a ring of towering peaks—this is the magic of the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Few journeys allow you to approach 7000- to 8000-meter giants with such accessibility, making this trek a favorite for both novice and seasoned adventurers. Over 7 to 11 days (with an 11-day itinerary highlighted here), travelers are led from the terraced fields of Nayapul and the famed Poon Hill sunrise to the enchanting rhododendron forests and into the Modi Kola Valley.

Each day brings new scenery, from lush rice paddies to dramatic high-altitude landscapes, culminating at the base camp itself at 4,130 meters—framed by Annapurna I, Machapuchhre, and more. The route is dotted with welcoming lodges, so you can trek light and focus on the experience rather than logistics. Trekking here means not only spectacular views but also immersion in local culture as you pass through mountain villages and interact with Nepali hospitality.

The unique selling point of this trekking tour is its unparalleled proximity to some of the world’s highest peaks with a moderate level of effort. Ideal for those eager to witness Himalayan grandeur without extreme difficulty, this trek promises a scenic, accessible adventure in one of Nepal’s most iconic regions.

Solo woman trek to ABC happy and successful

I had a fantastic time all through the trek. It was extremely awesome view, great food and stay. I felt safe traveling alone through the local operator. All credits go to Upendra for planning the trip. He responds quickly and promptly. Highly treatable and took care of everything. I didn't have to worry or think about anything. Krishna was my guide and porter. Awesome friend, highly recommend him as a guide. I added Chitwan and Kathmandu tour. It was the best trip to chitwan. I did tower night, jungle walk, private safari, elephant ride. Every day was exciting and joyous. Krishna was a good guide with sharp eyes. If you wanna do bird watching and spot wildlife, highly recommend him. I saw so many rare birds. Got a lady guide Sushma for Kathmandu tour. Another extraordinary day. She added a trip to Kalabairav for me. Highly recommend her. She is calm, understanding, knowledgeable and great photographer. Very imp guide is a good photographer for solo trips. I had Krishna and Sushma help me all along the way. They are guides who turned to be great friends. We had an amazing time all along. I am so happy and proud. Love nepal! Definitely will be back soon.

Annapurna Base Camp - October 2018

The views high up are worth every step . It's hard work but, you are trekking in the Himalaya's so, you expect that. What is interesting is that, every day, when you get to the day's destination, you forget that it was hard work during the trek and wonder at the scenery before you. Totally Recommended

An unforgettable experience in the Himalaya

We had a wonderful experience trekking to Annapurna base camp. To be able to hike next to these mountainous giants was breathtaking and an experience I will never forget. We had the pleasure to be accompanied by Purna, who was our excellent guide. His pace was perfect for this trek, in the evening we had lots of fun talking or playing cards, and he was concerned with our well-being at all times! In conclusion, we had the most amazing time at ABC and if we come back we will definitely ask for Purna to be our guide again!

Annapurna Base Camp Trek

20, 000 stairs. Be prepared. Up, down, up, down, up and around. So many stairs. Discuss with your guide in advance the level of communication and information you want in relation to tea houses and conversation over the table. My guide ate with the tea house family and I ate by myself, unless we stopped somewhere with other people. Not fun for a lone traveller.

First Experience of Trekking the Himalayas Mountain

We're now booked to go on our trek to Everest Base Camp (EBC) with the assistance of local tour specialists again from 19th Nov-4th Dec 2017. It means they're giving use satisfaction and we're very pleased to have them as our guides again. Generally ABC trek is a very long but filled with awesome and mesmorising sceneries. I highly recommend their services as it is worth every penny and Mr. Upen really take care of the logistic and the sleeping bags are GOD sent. It warms up in under 5 seconds. Thank you.

Beautiful Trekking

We are back to Belgium after doing a beautiful trek to Annapurna Base Camp in July 2017. The trek was organized by a local tour operator. It was monsoon season so the route was pretty peaceful all the way, the views were seen and disappearing regularly. It was a beautiful trekking even though we were not completely favored by the weather.

ABC is magic!

Annapurna Base Camp was truly magical. Experiencing the Himalayas for 1 week and getting to stay at base camp during the super moon was an experience we will never forget!

Slightly Disappointed

I expected a more physical challenge, most day we had finished walking by 2-3pm and then hung around the tea house until bed time. I actually cut the trip short because I was walking too many miles a day and I was barely walking 6-7 miles. The route was very crowded with large groups of Asian trekkers. The views of Annapurna were spectacular and I won't forget them.

Excellent Annapurna Base Camp trek

I completed my 3rd trek to the popular Annapurna Base camp. I can just say that it's a very beautiful trekking route with lots of rewards despite physical hardship. We were very fortunate with the weather as the first few days were very foggy and rainy however once we reached higher everything became very clear and the visibility was outstanding.

Annapurna Base Camp on 2013

This is one of the best travel experiences I had. Himalayas were so welcoming and I was simply amazed with close impression of these towering snowy Himalayas. It was an incredible journey.

Fantastic trekking to Annapurna with Himalayan Leisure

I recently traveled to Nepal and I was recommended this operator by a friend who traveled Nepal before with the same company. I found that it was very well organized. It was a never forgetting experience to Annapurna Base Camp. Even though I was traveling alone I never felt any issues or problems on the whole trip.

A happy cat on the trek!

It was my first trip to Himalayas and I selected Annapurna Base Camp over many other routes and I didn't regret. I was more than happy to have this trek as my first ever experience in Nepal. The route was pretty awesome with many people from all over the world. The guest houses were clean and loving. The local tour specialists did their job at the very best, couldn't be more happier than this!

Great company with touchy services

We had beautiful weather and the route wasn't very busy. The trek has many ups and downs but once you cross Deurali, you will never regret doing it. It was an dream holiday for us.
