Itinerary

Craving a Himalayan trek that escapes the crowds yet delivers breathtaking mountain vistas? The Mardi Himal Trek is a serene alternative in the Annapurna region, offering travelers a week-long journey through peaceful villages and along forested ridges, all with the snowy Annapurna range as your constant companion. Unlike busier trails, Mardi Himal remains a tranquil route, where trekkers can truly savor the solitude and quiet beauty of the Himalayas.

This trekking tour is known for its manageable ascents and descents, making it accessible to those seeking a moderate challenge without extreme demands. While accommodations and food are basic—the tea houses provide just the essentials—the raw, unfiltered experience is part of the adventure’s charm. Each day brings fresh perspectives of iconic peaks, from intimate viewpoints rarely visited by the masses.

Perfect for those who appreciate both simplicity and splendor, the Mardi Himal Trek’s unique selling point is its blend of untouched natural scenery and gentle, crowd-free trails. If you’re looking for a lesser-known trek that still showcases Nepal’s dramatic beauty, this trip offers a peaceful, rewarding exploration of the Himalayas.

Beautiful trek for beginners

I and my friend did a trek to Mardi Himal in December with Upendra which was organized by local travel experts. We booked a service trek with a private guide. The guide was very helpful and knowledgable and the price was very reasonable. We only took the guide and paid for the expenses ourselves, this went fine from starting to the end.

Great Trek

Not the most physically demanding trek and great for those who enjoy forest trails. Went with older folks and everyone had the time of their lives.
