Outdoor enthusiasts will revel in the journey through the Atlas Mountains, where dense groves of pine, cedar, and poplar frame the path. Encounters with nomadic Berber communities add a layer of cultural depth, while the Sahara’s golden Merzouga dunes invite you to climb their impressive heights and camp under a star-filled sky.
Your itinerary also features a trek through the dramatic Todra Valley, renowned for its limestone canyons, before shifting to the vibrant cities of Marrakesh and Essaouira. Knowledgeable local guides lead the way, ensuring an engaging blend of sightseeing, trekking, and genuine cultural immersion.
The USP of this trip lies in its comprehensive scope—blending Morocco’s natural wonders, storied cities, and authentic experiences in one unforgettable tour package. It’s an ideal choice for those who want an active yet deeply insightful Moroccan journey.

day 4 - Fez – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga Dunes
Time to leave cities behind and head into the mountains. Leave for the Atlas Mountains, home to natural wonders and Berber villages. Please note that this journey involves an occasional off-road detour for you to experience the beauty of this region and see the life of mountain dwellers.
Stop in Midelt in the afternoon before heading into the vast expanse of sands that is the Sahara. Continue your journey to Erfoud, one of the most delightful regions in the south of Morocco, a dry, red desert belt punctuated by green valleys and some breathtaking oases.
Visit the gorges of Ziz and see oases along the way before you reach the magnificent palm groves of Erfoud. Meet your camel caravan once in Erfoud and ride to your camp located over the dunes of Merzouga.
Tonight, stay in a tent pitched in the middle of the desert. Enjoy your night under the African sky.
