Itinerary
Set out on a Moroccan odyssey with the Classic Morocco Tour, an 11-day guided adventure tailored for young adults and experienced travelers eager for a taste of North Africa’s wonders. Begin in Casablanca, then journey through the ancient capitals of Rabat, Fes, Meknes, and Marrakech, each city revealing layers of history and culture.
Marvel at the timeless medina of Fes, gaze out over the Atlantic from Rabat, and wander the iconic monuments of Marrakech. Your exploration includes a night under Saharan stars, a walk among the Roman ruins of Volubilis, and a scenic drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains. The tour’s highlight? Visiting the UNESCO-listed Aït Benhaddou, a fortified village whose mud-brick architecture is steeped in legend.
The USP of this tour package is its perfect balance—combining ancient cities, natural beauty, and immersive cultural experiences into one seamless journey through Morocco’s heart.
day 1 - Arrive in Casablanca
Start your Morocco tour from Casablanca. Meet your driver at the airport after arrival and enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel. Later in the day, visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque located on the outskirts of Casablanca and gaze at out the Atlantic Ocean.
day 2 - Casablanca – Fez & discover Rabat
Leave Casablanca for Fez this morning. En route, stop at Rabat, Morocco's political and administrative capital since the country gained its independence in 1956. The tour in Rabat includes the Royal Mausoleum, Hassan Tower and Ouddayas, a medieval fortress with narrow streets to wander past. Additionally, Ouddayas also offers fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Bou Regrag River. Arrive in Fez late in the day and check into your hotel.
day 3 - Fez Medina
Follow your tour guide to explore the maze-like Fes Medina that is full of historic buildings and stooped alleys lined with aromatic food stands and time-honored workshops. See its palace as well as tanneries and learn more about the history of this city from your tour guide.
You are free in the afternoon to carry out more exploration or shopping by yourself.
day 4 - Day tour to Volublis & Meknes from Fez
Spend the morning exploring the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Wander through its extensive ruins and discover superb mosaics as you travel thousands of years back in history. Next, have a quick visit to Moulay Idriss, the holy city famous for the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss I, the founder of Morocco and a descendant of Prophet Muhammad.
Your driver-guide will take you on a tour of Meknes in the afternoon. Head back to your accommodation in Fez after this tour is over.
day 5 - Fez – Erfoud
Today's destination is the oasis town of Erfoud, a popular gateway to the mighty Sahara. This journey will take about 7 hours on road. Drive past the forests and hills of the Middle Atlas Mountains at the beginning of today's journey. See the ski resort town of Ifrane before descending the mountain to reach Midelt, a town with great views of the Eastern High Atlas.
Snake down to the Ziz Valley and travel past Tafilalt, home to the largest Saharan oasis in Morocco. Call it a day on reaching Erfoud, where you will spend the night.
day 6 - Erfoud – Merzouga & adventure in the Sahara
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to a local hotel in Merzouga, about 50 kilometers away, from where you will take a camel deep into the desert for an overnight stay in a Berber tent. The two-hour camel ride is challenging and may be uncomfortable for those with joint or back pain. Transportation in off-road vehicles will be provided upon request (optional).
day 7 - Merzouga – Ouarzazate
Wake early and climb a dune to enjoy a splendid sunrise over the Sahara. After a shower and breakfast, continue the journey to Ouarzazate with detours to discover the beautiful palm groves and Jewish quarters of Tinerhir. Enjoy magnificent views of Todra Gorge and Dades Gorge. The scenic land journey will take about seven hours in total.
day 8 - Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Today, on the way to Marrakech, you will visit the Unesco-listed Aït Benhaddou, a fortified village built around 1,000 years ago that features traditional houses made from mud and straw. This has also been a movie set for many well-known films, such as 'Gladiator', 'Jesus of Nazareth' and 'Game of Thrones'.
After the tour, head over the mountains to Marrakech and have some free time to explore the city on your own after arrival.
day 9 - Marrakech city tour
Today, during this four-hour city tour, you will visit the 19th-century Bahia Palace as well as the 16th-century Saadian Tombs. You will also see the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa. The tour will finally end at a local market. You will get some free time to do more exploration on your own before heading back to your accommodation.
day 10 - Marrakech leisure day
You have free time today to explore the city on your own and do some some shopping in the old medina if you wish to.
day 11 - Marrakech – Casablanca & departure
Enjoy a free morning before heading to the airport 3 hours before your scheduled departure flight.

A+++ Rating!
Wonderful trip with perfect locations and great tour guide. Our tour guide's courtesy and knowledge of the areas history was fantastic. Always available and ready to assist at any time. A+++ rating.
Wonderful Service
I have used them twice now, and both times have been amazing. The first time was for my honeymoon in Thailand and Cambodia (2017). We were able to tailor everything to our needs and even upgraded to fancier hotels and excursions we wanted without an issue. All the guides were wonderful and everything was seamless. The second time we went to Peru/Bolivia (2019), which was new to them at the time. They put together a wonderful trip that had only very minor hiccups - a couple of times we had to reach out to figure out who our guide was for the next day and get pick up times, or our guide info was incorrect. This was all due to them not having planned trips in South America yet, so it was a learning curve for them. They have since added basically our trip to their website. All in all, I will absolutely keep using them for our trips.
Will recommend to friends and family
