The jungle experience was brilliant. Being surrounded by so much nature and wildlife was a lot of fun. Everyone in Sauraha was really friendly and welcoming. The hotel I stayed at was lovely, with delicious food and a comfortable, spacious room with a great shower. I didn't enjoy seeing so many captive elephants as they looked really sad but I was given the option to not go on the elephant ride so I got an extra jeep safari experience which I enjoyed. I really loved the canoe experience too.

day 1Kathmandu/Pokhara – Chitwan

Early in the morning, you shall be transferred from your hotel at 5:45 AM to the bus station for the drive to Chitwan. (The tour can begin either from Kathmandu - 5 hrs drive or Pokhara -4 hrs drive).
Upon arrival in Chitwan, you shall be escorted to lodge from the bus station where a fine lunch awaits you. After lunch, you shall join the Tharu Village Tour to get more insight of the daily lives of the locals.
Visit the Elephant Stable for a short description on elephants provided by your personal naturalist and later on enjoy the beautiful sunset at the nearby Sunset Viewpoint. In the evening enjoy a cultural program of ‘Tharu Stick Dance’ performed by the local Tharu community and later on join a dinner at the lodge’s restaurant.

Good Wildlife Chitwan Safari

We love to see the animals in the wild and birds, we came across with this local operator to go for a Jungle safari tour. It was after our 14 Days Everest Base Camp trek. The decision was right. We enjoyed the nice stay in Chitwan with several activities at Chitwan National Park. We saw many different birds, crocodiles, Rhino, deers and other animals. The meal and accommodation were very nice including the pro guide.
