The Annapurna Circuit Trek with Tilicho Lake is a legendary adventure that has captivated trekkers worldwide, offering an exhilarating challenge for young adults and experienced explorers alike. This 15-day trekking tour weaves through Nepal’s most dramatic landscapes, beginning with gentle paths before ascending towards the formidable Thorung La Pass at 5,416 meters—a true test of stamina and spirit. Along the route, marvel at a kaleidoscope of scenery, from subtropical forests and lush paddies to rugged alpine terrain and the breathtaking Kaligandaki Gorge, the deepest in the world. The journey is enriched by encounters with diverse wildlife, including snow leopards and vibrant birdlife, and cultural immersion in mountain villages. A highlight is the side trip to Tilicho Lake, one of the highest lakes globally, set against a spectacular Himalayan backdrop. This trek’s unique selling point is its unmatched combination of natural beauty, cultural diversity, and the thrill of high-altitude adventure, making it the ultimate trip for those seeking both challenge and awe-inspiring vistas.
We had a great experience with Khum and this company. The transport to and from the trek was smooth. The trek holds breath-taking views with mostly straightforward days for a fit walker with a few challenging days. I highly recommend the trek for any nature lover and enthusiastic trekker. It is, however, the guide and porter that absolutely make the trek! They really do become like family on the trek. Raju has mastered the art of being a guide. He knows well when to give space and when to engage with encouragement or knowledge. We met many guides on the trek and, whilst they were all lovely, we felt especially fortunate to have Raju with his uplifting energy, enthusiastic knowledge and witty humour. Raju made the experience perfect. He acquired the best rooms he could to look after us as one of had a stomach infection. The rooms were better than expected all the way round as Raju managed to get us private rooms at every tea house and always offered extra blankets and pillows! He was patient and kind and remained positive towards achieving our goal despite the difficult illness. He also supplied the medicine which cured us and allowed us to complete the trek. It’s safe to say this would not have happened without Raju! We played cards every night and we shared different games with each other, this was a real highlight! Nima was also a lovely and caring porter who with his limited English communicated largely in kindness and respect. He was always there to help and support and several times returned from dropping the heavy bag to help! Despite the illness, the trip ran smoothly because of Raju and Nima and it has perpetuated our deep love for Nepal and a desperation to return and complete more treks. We can’t thank Raju and Nima enough for their excellency and for making our trip so special!

The trip is a must do for nature and Himalayan lovers. Himalayan hospitality and mightiness are found here which changes a person for good after single trip. Its the greatest humbling experience one can have.
If I could give more stars I would. This local travel specialist went above and beyond for me during my trip to Nepal. To begin with I arrived one year early – yes I booked for 2024 but arrived in Nepal in 2023 – and instead of allowing this HUGE blunder to be the story of my first trip to Nepal, the owner, Khum, worked magic. He quickly found a guide and porter for me and honored my booking for the Annapurna Circuit and TIlicho Lake trek. They handled everything, just as advertised, and I never was concerned about their promptness or execution. My guide, Chandra, was experienced and a tune to my speed and ability. We modified the trip a bit because we were making more progress than was expected in the itinerary. He was knowledgeable of the areas we were traveling through and often had stories or informational bits to share with me. The three of us got along swimmingly, Chandra and Nemah, had great senses of humor and were always happy and up for additional treks or just to sit around playing games. The lodging and food was as expected on a trek such as this and Chandra and Nemah often offered me desert of apples and bananas as a special treat. Almost every room I had included a stunning view of the Himalayas and a soundtrack of the river that paralleled the trail. I don’t need to dwell on how stunning the experience was or how much, mentally and physically, I needed this trip so that I could reset and put 2023 in the rearview mirror but this trip exceeded expectations in that regard. Towards the end of the hike, I did become ill but I was never concerned or felt alone; Chandra, Nemah and Khum, were all very attentive and concerned that I be receiving the care I needed. They treated me like family and I will definitely be using them in the future when I visit western Asia.
The trip was amazing with beautiful sights and lots of photos and memories that will last a lifetime. Some days were easy and some were harder, overall it was worth the climb.
I had the pleasure of trekking the Annapurna region with Kumar. His contagious smile and energy set the tone for a really nice journey. He knows the region and checks on people’s well-being while trying to tailor the experience to my preferences. Even if I was travelling solo, he included me in his guided tour and took care of me. In doing so, it made my experience more special in an expected way.
Great experience. The owner is very professional, the trek was amazing and the guide was nice, even though we sometimes had misunderstandings about money (what was included or not in the budget) and information sharing (when snow threatened to change the plans, which it finally did not). Only the trekking material shop this company is working with (Himalaya gears) is not good (it sold us a not working head lamp and rented us unchecked sleeping bag, coat and walking sticks that had some issues). As a whole, I would trek with them again (choosing another renting shop) and and I therefore recommend.
Overall I can only say that I had a really fantastic experience hiking the Annapurna Circuit and I can only recommend to do the trip with this local travel specialist and especially with the guide Sudan! ☺️ The organization pre as well as during the trip was really good. All questions were answered very quickly and the agency was very flexible (I only booked the trip 3 days in advance). My guide Sudan was a very experienced trekking guide, who was really kind and patient. I felt very well taken care of at all times! As I was quite eager to trek a lot during the day, we quite quickly were ahead schedule - but Sudan was super flexible, arranged to sleep in different villages and also invited me in his gorgeous hometown on the last day and showed me around and provided me zeal Bhat with his lovely family. Thanks a lot for this really great experience ☺️ I had an amazing time!
So I did the 15-Day Annapourna Circuit Trek, including the Tilicho Lake in July 2022. As an quite inexperienced trekker, I also booked a porter, because I felt like not having to carry that extra weight of my backpack would help me a lot, which it actually did. Because it was Off-Season at this time of the year, my „group“ constisted of the guide, the porter and myself only, which I was absolute fine with. My guide Ramsh was an excellent guide, making the trek as comfortable as possible and he was kind and caring as a person. Unfortunately my porter didn’t speak Englisch but I can definitely say that all other interactions were very nice and friendly. The teahouses and the people owning them are always very welcoming and provide delicious food, no matter at what altitude you’re trekking. So overall it was a very nice treck, nature is absolutely stunning, even tho in high season you probably have better views. Nevertheless if you’re somebody who would rather be warm with good views than be freezing with excellent views I would recommend going during the summer months. All the teahouses are mostly empty and you will always have a room with at least two beds for yourself. The booking experience was very good and smooth and I was picked up from the airport as well as dropped of at the airport at the end. Communication between the guide and me worked very well and there were no complications whatsoever. I also needed to shorten my trip by one day to catch a flight and that was absolutely no problem as the guide was very flexible. So I would recommend. Have a nice time in Nepal, if you’re deciding to go!
My guide Harka made my trek an amazing unforgettable experience. He has an extensive knowledge of the Annapurna region and was always extremely helpful and caring throughout the whole journey. Even after we met more travel companions after our first day of trek, he simply accepted the others to our group and took care of them as his own group. I would recommend Harka to everyone who wants to do the circuit with a guide/friend!
The excellent trip I had with this tour operator. Friendly guide, porter! Great food!
My guide, Krishna Dhakal, was great, knowledgeable, very patient and very helpful. I wouldnt have completed Thorung La Pass with out him. Also the tour opeartor's -20 down sleeping bag really kept me warm at High Camp (4700m) on a winter! Will definitely recommend to friends! Thanks!
Great trek of the Himalayan range and really lived up to its reputation. Always something to see and a good physical challenge. The guide Megendra was friendly and helpful and was able to make suggestions about itinerary and best foods to eat at altitude. I hope to see him and use this tour operator for future visits to Nepal
very interesting and challenging trek, spectacular scenery, good weather lots of sunshine
I did the Annapurna Circuit trek with Tilicho Lake organized by this tour company. It was very responsive and answered every questions that I had. Helped me organize my trip with the limited time that I had and rearranged the schedule and the itinerary to match my interests. I did the trek with Dawa. And I could not ask for a better guide. Dawa is very knowledgeable. You can ask him anything about the landscapes, the culture and religion, anything about Nepal and he will answer you. Before the trail, he will give you all the necessary advice and support to make sure you complete the trail the best way possible. On the trail, he is very attentive to your body signals and adjusts the speed accordingly. He even positions himself according to the shape and slope of the trail to keep you safe as much as possible. I am really grateful for everything he did for me and recommend him as your guide for your future trek in Nepal.
This was a well led trip with lots of logistical support from Raju , and his assistant guide together with the willing porters who worked really hard , thank you

One of the best trekking experiences. Raju Mainali is an exceptional guide. He assesses the various needs of the group and manages them with great integrity. He, Ramesh and the lovely porters went out of their way to make this challenge a safe and joyful experience.
This is a great trek and the Tilicho Lake addition is both beautiful, and helpful for acclimatizing before going over Thurong La Pass. Pravin, my guide was amazing and let me customize our itinerary extensively as it ended up just being the two of us. The clouds even parted for a few minutes at Poon Hill (we added this to the original itinerary) so I got a view of the Annapurna Massif.
This trip was amazing, thank you to our guide (Kamal) and assistant guide (Raj) who made the trip awesome. They were extremely knowledgeable and always helpful. The sights of the Annapurna circuit and villages were incredible, overall a great experience for someone like me with no experience in trekking.
I had a absolutely fantastic trek. Kamal (the guide) was wonderful as was our assistant guide, Raj. They were very helpful and encouraging and clearly knew what they were doing. Even the porters were very friendly. Highly recommend to anybody.
The trek was absolutely amazing. Almost perfect weather and great views. We travelled in early May so the trek was not crowded at all. Our guide Raju and porter Dhawa were great. They did a perfect job. The tour and company are highly recommended.
Would highly recommend this trek. Unfortunately bad weather closed off the trail to tilcho lake, but everything else was great. Stunning scenery and definitely physically challenging. My guide - Sudan Karki was excellent and very professional. Everything was taken care of, his English was very very good and he took good care of me when the altitude made me feel really rough (which as a solo traveler is very important). All the accommodation was good as was the food!
Megendra is a professional guide for this 15 days, although the weather is not good and keep snowing and we cannot get to tillicho lake and thorong la pass, we can get to manang to enjoy the great view, megendra provided many professional option for me. This is my first time trekking on snow and really rough for me, but he always take care of me. Big dhandabad.

4.5/5 is for my guide Ghattaraj, he was really professional and ambitious. As a solo woman, I felt safe with him, and he was always smiling and had a great energy about him. He also had some amazing life stories which were really inspirational. 4/5 for the tour agency, as Khum was excellent in responding to email and queries promptly 3/5 for the trek. Too much trash for me, not enough respect of nature from people, and didn't feel in the wilderness, too much human interaction (machinery noise, trash, Jeep passing by, wifi...). It was still really beautiful, it is a treasure, but a treasure neglected and it is really sad to watch as it has so much potential. Fines should be implemented for people who dump their trash from the top of the mountains into the river. I hope Nepalese will become more educated about self-sustainability and recycling and looking after their lands better as this country is a diamond covered with dirt. As a traveler and nature lover, I feel that my next trek I will have to make some better decision in choosing a trek which encourages self-sustainability, recycling, preserving wildlife, ....
Great views, great mountains and track, of course. But you must understand, that trekking itself is only part of all difficulties you'll meet. Primitive life conditions, more and more cold in unheated rooms with altitude, problems with your gadged charging - sometimes it need much more efforts than trekking itself. Nepalese driving style - absolutely chaotic and very dangerous, especially in mountain roads, so l can only recomend - avoid ground route from Jomson to Pokhara. Better 30 minutes in local plane, than 11 hours madness in jeep.
Breath-taking, both literally and figuratively. You would miss the incredible sceneries if you focus on the trek itself, so always remember to take a moment to just breathe it all in and savor the fact that you are on the legendary Himalayan ranges. If you have time, extend a day or two in Pokhara its just as amazing down that lakeside beauty.

Where do you even begin with this trip. The word amazing barely covers it. I begun this trip with so much trepidation, but I need not have worried. The company, including the boss Khum and our illustrious guide Dawa were absolutely incredible. From day 1- Dawa looked after us, he gave great advice, knew a considerable amount about the trek and was able to explain how the day would proceed. He was able to help us acclimatise and made great decisions in regards to where to eat, what to eat and how best to avoid altitude sickness. Would definitely recommend requesting Dawa as your guide if you chose this trek As for the trek itself, again amazing doesnt quite cover it. The experience alone is a once in a lifetime event. The scenery is breathtaking and you meet some truly amazing people along the way. For myself the trek was quite difficult and if youre not used to carrying weight, a porter is an amazing person to have with you. Their strength and resilience to the elements, the lack of oxygen and the weight is nothing like Ive ever seen before. All in all this trip is definitely worth it and Id recommend the local operator for it hands down. They made it the best experience I could have hoped for

For my Anapurna trek I chose this local operator and I would like to recommend this company to all further adventure seekers. Our guide, Dawa was an amazing guide, providing us with support and advice throughout the trek. He had a lot of knowledge of the Anapurna region and always made sure that we felt good and comfortable. I myself have never trekked before and was not sure if I could do it, but Dawa had faith in me so so did I. Dawa also carried my bag up to thorong la Pass, gave us an apple pie in Manang and was always up for a talk and a game. All in all, everything was well organised and the guide was worth all of the five stars.
We just finished the Annapurna circuit and it was a great experience, with beautiful views and a lot of support from our amazing guide who even made the program more interesting than planned! I can just recommend this local operatorfor the very, very good price-quality ratio and the people who supported us trough those 2 weeks - special thanks to Pravin Tamoong, Bipin Tiwari and Santos! You are just great! From the beginning till the end there is not even one thing I didn't like about this journey! If you have the free time, you should definitely try it ;)
