Hiking was beautiful and the porters and staff were so hard working, they carried everything, set-up camp for us every day/night and allowed guests to immerse in the magic of the Incan culture and natural beauty unencumbered. We decided to include a city tour of Cusco instead of the Humantay Lake hike as this would have been to strenuous for one of our friends, and this decision was perfect. During our time in Peru, Pilar was exceptional with 24/7 assistance, helping us make reservations in restaurants and being there for us no matter what. Superb! All the sites visited were worth it. Not too many people (except from Machu Picchu which was very crowded of course) and what we loved was that we arrived before the crowds. The company promised big time on that and they OVERDELIVERED!
