Trek through the rugged mountains of the Upper Mustang region of the Himalaya, the Kali Gandaki River Valley, and numerous small villages of the area on this 13-day trek. In addition to the walking adventure, you will get to see and experience the unique culture and religion of the region. The final destination, Lo Manthang, is a beautiful village in the region that offers incredible cultural immersion.
This trip starts in Kathmandu and includes a bus ride to Pokhara with time to explore the lakeside town before taking a small mountain flight to Jomsom, where the trekking starts.
The region still has some restrictions in place and you will need a special permit for the trek. We will take care of that as well as all accommodation and food on the trek. Trekking with us to Upper Mustang is traveling in safe hands!

My wife and I completed the Annapurna Circuit plus Tilicho Lake guided by Ramesh and portered by Ramo and the experience was perfect. Ramesh is truly the best guide in the world. Not only is he an encyclopedia and loved sharing information with us while trekking, he was smart, strategic, and patient all throughout the trip. He actively used his experience to guide us on the trek, making changes that would better our chances of crossing the pass and visiting Tilicho lake in the best way possible, which I appreciated. Ramesh is also very friendly and warm, which truly helped, as our experience literally felt like a perfect intertwine between a guided tour and a trek, which we greatly appreciated. To be able to do this at altitude with a variety of personalities, all while being patient must be respected. And I cannot and will not forget our porter Ramo: thank you so much for moving so quickly and efficiently (with our items on your back), better enabling us to lock in certain rooms at various tea houses to help ensure my wife and I rested comfortably throughout the trek. In November 2023 me and my friend embarked on a bucket list adventure. We booked a private tour for the drive in and out EBC via Gokyo Ri trip. Right from the get go everything was smooth, the communication at the head office made it appear there was no time difference between the U.K. and Nepal.
Upon arriving in Nepal the pick up from the airport and briefing were clear and to the point with no delays or issues. The trek itself has definitely been one of the most beautiful and difficult things I have ever embarked upon and I have NO regrets with my choice in agency or itinerary!
My tour guide for the 3 week package we booked and every day he stayed happy, tried his best to keep our spirits uplifted and made sure all the little things behind the scenes were sorted so all we had to do was focus on the trek itself. I highly recommend having him as a tour guide especially if you’re trekking in the Everest Region. Also, our Porter deserves a special shout-out for showing the strength of these Nepalese people, much stronger than I could imagine to be.

Then, make a steep ascent to Namche Bazaar, the capital of the Sherpas, where we are greeted by spectacular mountain vistas. After reaching our target of Everest Base Camp, we trek back down to Lukla for a return flight to Kathmandu.
I enjoyed every minute of this trip. The local staff (Gum K.C. our tour leader, and Chowang our sherpa leader, and all 5 of the porters) made the trip an amazing experience.
I had never been to Nepal or to high altitude so it was a challenge for me (at age 64) but I would most definitely do it all again in a heartbeat.
