Varied activities. We visited lots of different places and saw wonderful sights, including the northern lights 3 times! The weather limited some activities but this was managed well by the guide and driver. Unexpected trip to the hospital was also managed well. We particularly enjoyed the brewery tour, the super jeeps and the thermal baths. A great holiday with fantastic memories.

Loved the trip. It was great to see Iceland in winter. I think we were quite lucky with the weather as a whole. The accommodation was all good. Food expensive. but to a high standard, Thor, our driver kept us safe on the very icy roads. Gusti our tour leader was great. Very sociable and kept us laughing with his stories!!

An excellent itinerary taking in most of Iceland, with an excellent leader who was a fund of local knowledge, both fact and myth. We were lucky to have good weather with clear views of snow-covered mountains, and clear nights with visible aurora. The food, though pricey, was to a high standard, especially the fish soup on Hrisey. As well as the included visit to the Forest Lagoon we had the opportunity to enjoy the public swimming baths in Reykjavik and Akureyri, and hot tubs in some of the hotels.

Where to begin ! A fabulous itinerary blessed with fabulous weather but, most importantly of all, an outstanding guide Vala and excellent driver Hjörtur who, with such knowledge and humour, shared so much with us about their beautiful Iceland. Perfect.

This was my first explore adventure, and what a way to start! Our tour guide Vala was informative and entertaining throughout; mixing descriptions of the scenery, historical information, mythical stories and the occasional bit of her own poetry. The itinerary shows you aspects of Iceland that you may need a month to cover if you were to plan it yourself. We were blessed with good weather throughout, but there was always flexibility built into the schedule depending on conditions and adventurer capability. I thoroughly recommend this experience.

A very enjoyable tour of the highlights of Jordan with an extremely knowledgeable, personable guide (Saleh) who handled the group dynamics well. The camps turned out to be much nicer than expected and the trip was well paced. Personally I didn't find the walking aspect as challenging as I'd have liked but if you want to see the best of Jordan with some walking thrown in then this is a great choice. It was nice to have a good amount of time in both Wadi Rum and Petra rather than rushing through like so many do. The Dead Sea was also a highlight. Saleh always had lots of information to share, has an excellent grasp of history, and also shared more personal and cultural insight and stories. A thoroughly enjoyable trip.
