Northern Europe City sightseeing Trips

Really appreciated the tour of the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museum. Would have liked to visit the St. Peter's Basilica and the Pieta. Sorry that that did not happen. The rest of the tour was wonderful. Really appreciated all the optional excursions. Would've liked to have seen a bit more of Rome itself. A big thank you to Tayla Gatt, our Tour Director. She was excellent at her job - really helpful, full of great information and suggestions. Our tour bus driver, Danielli, was superb at his job. Really appreciated his navigation skills.

This was a fabulous, well-rounded trip. As an itinerary snob, I couldn’t have planned it better myself. Transportation was seamless, timing was perfect, complete with delicious food, city and establishment tours, beautiful shows, and unforgettable experiences. Marvelous!

I did this trip several years ago and I’m so glad I decided to do it again! The itinerary was very manageable and a good mix of inland and coastal walks. It was a great group and we enjoyed the range of restaurants available, most of them recommended by the tour leader. Tavira is a very pretty and historic town with plenty of activities available and with a good train service to other towns nearby. The hotel was of a high standard with good rooms, helpful staff and a great range for breakfast. There is a choice of two pools, indoor and outdoor, as well as a lovely bar and terrace on the top floor. The tour leader, Ester, was excellent, helpful and caring and very attentive to the various needs of group members.

I had the honor of being chosen to play an instrument on stage with the Conductor at the Gala Viennese Concert in Vienna Austria. It was amazing. I did this in front of over 200 people. There were people all over the world saying beautiful things. I really had so much fun. My tour Director Gerwin Trafalgar was excellent and he was so caring. Bardos Laszlo excellent professional driver and always professional with a cheerful manners. I was also asked to cut the red ribbon for the restaurant Marchfelderhof Country Inn. The women bathroom were filled with surprise with all men fine pictures on the walls.

We had a great trip to Italy and saw so much on the Escapade itinerary. We also had a great tour director and driver. We liked the ease of the tour because all driving, tickets, hotels, and many meals we arranged. It would have taken so much more time to arrange this trip ourselves and it would have been much more stressful. We enjoyed the group we traveled with as well. I would recommend spending a few extra days before or after the trip on your own. We only stayed one extra day and I wish we had done at least two or three. There is so much to see in Rome so these extra days would be helpful. Each area of the trip had it's own beauty and history. We will choose future trips with Insight and hope they will be as great as our Italy experience!

Tour of Old Town Nice was wonderful. Shops were delightful snd offered lots of shopping opportunities. Tour of St. Jean de Vence was phenomenal. Food, shopping and overall experience was beyond what we had expected. Would definately repeat this our again.
