Lots of early morning starts. Did not realize that the excursions were so costly and was only revealed after trip booked and paid for. Meals were Buffet style at Hotels and quite adequate. Hotels were comfortable and clean . Bus was kept spotless and driver was knowledgeable Seats were not that comfortable as not very wide and the seatbelt dug into your hip when fastened. Would have like some music to be played rather than constant talk from driver and guide . Guide went out of his way to help people and was super efficeient . Also very knowledgeable but taked too much. People were nice although had 50 people on this tour. Both Guide and Driver worked hard to make this trip enjoyable and I commend them on the hard work they put into this.

Great tr.ip, well planned, Fantastic views. Great tour director who kept us well informed of history of area as well as best activities available to increase experience at each stop.. Excellent coach driver who drove skillfully and smoothly every day. Great trip but never long enough.

We loved our AATKings holiday in New Zealand South Island. Every aspect of the trip was excellent. The coach was very comfortable with the driver ensuring it was always clean and that we travelled in a pleasant temperature. The accommodation and meals were top notch and the tour director ensured that everything went very smoothly as he gave us paperwork throughout advising us of every detail we needed such as accommodation venues and the delightful experiences we would enjoy. He ensured we would never be in any doubt about what he needed us to do. He was very passionate about his beautiful country and gave us informative commentary throughout. We loved the stunning scenery and enjoyed our experience immensely.

It was our first time in NZ South Island and first time on a coach tour(9 Days), both couldnt have been better. excellent guide and coach driver (Nathan & Simon) weather was the best along with the scenery and commentary. Accomodation was top notch, porterage was supplied at hotels so no lugging our bags in and out. We were supplied with a assortment of tour options along the way ie jet boating, helicopter rides to a LOTR 1/2 day bus tour (at additional costs). The only thing to add was we felt a bit more time could be spent in some smaller towns we stopped at along the way, but this was more of a taste of things available tour and longer tours are available

Well planned with trip with a mix of activities with my tour mates and time for myself during the free time! Unexpected weather changes were also well managed and control by our tour manager and coach driver. Not only the schedule was well managed, they also kept the group's spirit high and positive!

Honestly I really enjoyed everything. But if I had to pinpoint a favourite I think it would be how often we saw the northern lights. Due to the extreme weather conditions - a blizzard in October, we saw them almost every night which I think makes us really lucky, as I was expecting it to be much harder to see them. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by the adaptability of our day plans by our TM and Driver when we needed to be kept safe, and had delays to departures on some days due to snow, icy roads, and strong winds - we still managed to see everything we would have in the end and made some surprise pit stops too! I was super stoked with the glacier hike, but it would be even more incredible if it was longer. The only way I think this trip could be improved would be to have the start time earlier so the first day is actually a full day, and start the travel straight away! Why do we need to stay in Reykjavík on the first and last night? It could easily be changed to make the trip feel like you see even a tiny bit more.
