It is based in central Norway, on the edge of the Rondane National Park and the Gudbrandsdalen Valley, just north of Lillehammer. The landscape is dramatic and full of contrasts from spectacular gorges and snow-capped peaks to pretty fells and valleys that extend as far as the eye can see. It's far enough north to have a good chance of seeing the Northern Lights too, especially in December and January, and throughout the winter there are spectacular sunrises and sunsets.
It has always been traditional to travel on skis here, so it's perfect for cross-country skiing, and the guides at Venabu will help you get started. All weeks are suitable for beginners to intermediates. It was an excellent itinerary as well as excellent Travel Director and coach driver. Thank you very much. I was glad to decide to take all options offered. However, back-to back options in Venice seemed to be too much for summertime. Dinner at the restaurant in Dolomites was spectacular!.

Great itinerary covering all the important sites in Egypt for those interested in Egyptology and history and geography. The tour guides were full of information and knew their history- all the Pharaohs and details of their families and era of their reign. Taught us the basics or reading hieroglyphics. The cruise up the Nile River was amazing in a wonderful river boat with great services to look after us all the way.

The Tour du Mont Blanc is an iconic trek and was a fantastic experience with treks in France , Italy and Switzerland as we circled the Mont Blanc area. 10 days of long walks with large ascents and descents often on difficult terrain. Camping adds its own challenges . 3 rest days were useful to recover and have opportunity to explore courmayeur and Chamonix . Overall a great trip and would recommend it

This was a trip of a lifetime. There is almost nothing I would change. The tour director and the bus driver were great. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants a broad overview of the Scottish Highlands in less than two weeks. The only negative I have is one of the people on the tour managed to get almost half of all the others sick by spreading germs on the close quarter tour bus.
