An excellent Wildlife experience A wide range of wildlife spotted. We were extremely lucky to see Wild Dogs twice, a good number of White Rhino in Umfolozi and significant herds of elephant, Zebra and giraffe amongst many other animals. Also had a good sighting of lions on our last day in Kruger. Andrew, very well assisted by Trymore, was an excellent guide full of enthusiasm and a great host. Food prepared at the sites was very good as was the choice of restaurants on the occasions that we ate in towns. There was a good close up experience with dolphins in Mozambique and it was the dolphins that approached the guests rather than the other way around. The border crossing from Mozambique involved a lengthy delay as it was a Sunday and many workers travelling across to South Africa. The lodges used were comfortable and well located. Overall, a highly recommended trip for those who love wildlife although as always sightings can never be guaranteed.
14 day Northern Thailand tour I’ve just finished the 14 day Northern Thailand tour and Scotty was the best tour guide I’ve ever had! The level of care and attention to detail in every aspect of the tour was unparalleled. Scotty went above and beyond to ensure that each and every person on the tour was having a great time. He always had excellent recommendations for us and his local knowledge was perfect! Scotty was always happy to help with any situation, whether that was a small issue or help on an activity I really felt that I could approach him about anything. He also brought such a fun, happy, positive attitude to every activity/meal/night out and I really believe that without Scotty this experience would have been no where near as good!!! A massive thank you to Scotty, it was a pleasure and a privilege to travel Thailand with you for 2 weeks!
Vietnam-laugh your way across Vietnam with Danh! Well, where do you start Danh ('Jan') is the most happy, knowledgeable and friendly person you will meet. As a guide you will never surpass him. We had such a brilliant time with slick organisation making travelling in a hot climate so enjoyable. Cycling, culture, history and great food are wrapped into this brilliant 2 week trip that you cannot fail to enjoy it. We did the Atlas descent last autumn and whilst harder technically the higher temperatures in Vietnam make it tougher than the level 3 would suggest! We traveled as family of 4 with 2 teenage girls (17/19) and had very different expectations of a holiday, but 'Jan's' personality and abilities engaged everyone on all levels. If the tour company would like a small tip-stick some semi-slick tyres on the bikes as there was no need at all for knobbly MTB ones, the roughest terrain was a sandy road.
