Loved the calm, patient, friendly people and atmosphere throughout lush, green Bali. The tour was fast paced with lots of physical activity, visiting many temples and beautiful natural features. I especially appreciated visiting locals in their home setting or small businesses and would like more of these learning opportunities through contact with local persons. Our leader Hadi Jabar was superb in organization ….transportation, rooms, meals, events, conflicts all dealt with efficiently and with ease. He has a delightful, considerate personality with a great sense of humour. We had very interesting local guides at many sites but I would have liked a little more vocal information from our own leader on significant features we passed on our long drives. Fabulous trip … learned lots!!

The Bali, Flores and Komodo trip exceeded my expectations, we saw and experienced some amazing aspects of Indonesia, especially seeing the Ngada villages, the Komodo dragons and lucky enough to see the manta rays. If you have time, you should aim to do Exotic Java and Bali trip and this back-to-back as you get to experience different aspects of Indonesia as each island was different. Hadi is an excellent guide with a deep understanding and genuine care for each traveller's experiences, especially in helping to avoid crowds and busy environments. He has built strong relationships with hotel and restaurant staff, as well as local guides, which makes the trip better. Hadi is also very supportive and inclusive, particularly towards people with special needs. For our Ngada village walk, he arranged a local guide with special needs who was knowledgeable and passionate about sharing insights. Hadi also provided the right amount of information without being overwhelming and ensured instructions for each day were clear and easy to follow.

Enrico and Satva were delightful, organized and thoughtful guides. We loved hiking and learning about the natural places, Italian culture and life from these happy folks. 10 plus rating for guides. Nice accommodations in a well maintained, comfortable historic inn. The food and drinks were excellent and staff always helpful. I especially enjoyed my early am cappuccino on the lovely terraza overlooking a pastoral scene and Mediterranean Sea. Perfect! Well organized and paced trip. We also love hiking and connecting with other members of our group from Wales, New Zealamd, Britain, and US expatriates.

The hotel was comfortable and the staff and food were excellent. The walks were challenging but as described and Enrico was a great guide, informative and fun. I would recommend this holiday to anyone who wants to experience the Amalfi coast without too much intensity from Amalfi itself as it is v busy.

Hotel were organised to cater for my gluten free diet, so no problems with the GF pasta, pizza, etc. What let the hotel down slightly was the lack of GF options at breakfast. One one day I managed to get a GF bun, and other days I managed to get a couple of slices of bread, but there were a couple of days where there was no GF option available at breakfast. Otherwise, everything else was excellent including the lovely Gaia.

A comprehensive introduction to Bali, Flores and Komodo National Park. Some days with long drives of 5-6 hours on steep snd winding roads. We missed a couple of highlights due to bad weather, but overall the itinerary offered up a good mix of culture, scenery, engagement with local people, and wildlife encounters. Accommodations ranged from luxurious (Jimbaran Beach) to cramped (boat) although the facilities on board exceeded my expectations. Five stars to our tour leader, Hadi, who kept the logistics on track with patience, humour, and always with a smile on his face.
