Kathmandu Mountains Trips

First time in Nepal, and I quickly found that Nepalese people are wonderful, warm and welcoming, have incredible food and amazing mountains. Bal, my guide, and Nima, my porter, were wonderful throughout my solo 12 days hike to Poon Hill, ABC, and Mardi Himal. They both took great care of me, were always ahead on what was upcoming on our itinerary, and booked places that had excellent hospitality, food, and rooms. I had an amazing time with them and highly recommend them!!

The trek to Annapurna Base Camp was an unforgettable experience, full of breathtaking landscapes and moments I'll carry with me forever. We did this trip with Nomad, a Portuguese travel agency that organized everything with great care and professionalism. On the ground, we were guided by the amazing local team from Unique Adventure International - big thank you to them for making everything run so smoothly. Our main guide, Dev, was always professional, very kind, Nepali teacher, and fun to be around. Nima, one of the porters, stood out for being constantly present and willing to help - often accompanied the group with a calm, confident energy that made a big difference. Suman, also a porter, was a huge help throughout the trek, and Suzan, our photographer, captured some incredible moments and added great energy to the group. Dhanyavada to all the other porters! It was a truly special journey, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature, culture, and adventure.

My EBC trip was perfectly planned. First of all, I want to thank Mr. Gokul, my guide Kali, and Amita from operations a million times. The guesthouses I stayed in were warm and clean. My guide Kali was always kind and supportive. I’m very excited for my ABC trip this year—hope to see you again soon!

From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an incredible adventure. What really stood out to me was the level of personal attention and care provided by the team, specially from Nima and Dev. They were always available to answer questions and ensure we were comfortable, making this trek an experience of a lifetime. Our Everest Base Camp trek was truly unforgettable. The entire experience was flawlessly managed—from the initial planning to the final steps back from the mountains. The team’s coordination and communication were excellent, always timely and clear. Our guide, Pralhad, was incredibly caring, attentive, and experienced, and the porters were amazing—reliable, kind, and supportive throughout the trek. Every lodge and restaurant stop was thoughtfully selected, giving us comfort without losing the authenticity of the journey. Raj, the owner, was fantastic—always available, quick to respond, and offered valuable insights at every stage.

Poon Hill was amazing! However, couldn’t have done it without our guide and porter, Dev and Nima. They made us feel safe, made us notice things we might not have, they were extremely organized and most of all super friendly! Highly recommend.
