For first time I travelled with foreign passengers and it was amazing Initially I had reservations in my mind due to diverse cultures, thoughts but all got sink very well Kudos to tour guides who managed so well
I personally liked the punctuality, adherence to itinerary, travel bus, timely rest for drivers etc.
My special thanks to Gabbreila - who is very friendly, approachable to all passengers. She is always ready to support, guide, prompt and clear in her responses. I wish entire Italy she could be associated with our group. look forward to be with her in my next trips
Few issues and feedback:
1. We are pure vegetarian. Except Harry Home, no other hotel provided any vegetarian breakfast. Entire 7 days we were on fruit, coffee. Very difficult to travel / enjoy without proper breakfast. If this is taken care many Indian can join Europamundo. I believe here Europamundo lost good marks and me Euros
2. In Radisson, Zurich we were allotted only one room for 3 persons with no additional bed and existing bed was not sufficient for 3 persons. We informed at the reception, they asked me to get in touch with tour operator. I had no contact with Veronica and therefore no arrangements were done either by hotel nor the tour guide could take adequate care I request for refund of one night stay as it was a sleepless night
3. The instructions were not much clear and we missed the lunch in Lucerne organised by Europamundo. I expected the tour operator Veronica to at least check whether we had lunch in that windy location, but when she met at Grindlewad her question was”Did you come with us in tour” after spending 2 days with her I was just blown off as the tour operator did not notice me and my family for 2 full days and did not even cross check whether all her passengers have taken the lunch. Next day, on cross confirmation for hotel for 3 persons I informed to new tour guide on the above episode - Gabriela. She compensated vegetarian lunch at Pisa She also informed that the mistake was from Hotel side, however my one family member was sleepless whole night
4. The gondolas ride in Venice was worst Paid 40 Euros each for 3 persons for 25 mins ride with music. In actual the ride was less than 10 mins and no music. On enquiry it was found that the entire gondola can be booked for 90 Euros 5 person for 25 mins with music. Here again we lost the experience and paid additional Euro 22 for each person, thus additional paid is 66 Euros.
5. In total, I deserve a refund for one night stay and gondola ride, however I leave on Europamundo. Depending upon the action, I will decide my subsequent trips with Europamundo.
6. Lastly, more than half day in Rome almost 6 hours was left on us as free for those who have not opted the optional tour. I believe so much time and no guidance on places which can be visited by tour guide left us clueless in foreign place. We could not take benefit of visiting Rome and certainly difficult to visit second time . Suggest to keep less optional tours and include maximum so that the group is not much segregated and all enjoy together
