The trip was a whirlwind with early starts but we packed so much in during the week. I was pleased I could keep up with everyone but I could have booked a longer holiday with more time to ‘stop and stare’. The guide, Lan, was superb and knew all the best places for eating and buying and his organisation was brilliant.

1st off Tam the guide was extremely well informed and competent with his knowledge and love of Viet Nam that he shared with the group. Highlights for me included: Mekong Delta cruise. Hoi An old town. Vespa tour at night Sailing Cat Ba. A great experience of culture, food, wartime history and beautiful scenery. Wi-Fi in Thanh Lich Hotel was terrible.
I had an excellent trip to Vietnam on the Simply Vietnam tour. The trip was fun, relatively fast-paced, and allowed for a good overview of Vietnam's history and culture. We had an excellent tour leader in Joseph who is friendly, organised, enthusiastic, and knowledgable. There were some optional tours/activities as well, and we were given restaurant recommendations for evening meals which were all great.
Joseph is a first class tour leader, excellent itinerary, good hotels.

The trip was excellent. Long enough to get a feel for Viet Nam but with plenty left to explore on a future trip. The local guide was amazing -- his organisation was flawless, the sights he recommended were all very unique and special and every restaurant or cafe that he took us too served the most amazing food.
It was a really enjoyable trip. We covered alot of ground, saw many areas of Vietnam in a short period of time and saw some wonderful sights along the way. Our tour leader was excellent. He was so enthusiastic and he gave us indepth information about the many places and sights we visited. He looked after us so well. It really was a memorable trip. Highly recommended.
This was a wonderful, varied trip with a good mixture of culture, beautiful scenery, activities and history, both ancient and soberingly more recent. Our guide Binh was fantastic; funny, kind, patient and very knowledgeable, he was a highlight of our trip. The accommodation was all very comfortable and the food was amazing. As a vegetarian, travel can be tricky, but there were lots of delicious options. I highly recommend this trip for the first time visitor to Vietnam.
