Customer Reviews
We had an excellent trip and really enjoyed all aspects of the trip. Both our leaders Joseph and Sitha were excellent. One suggestion would be not to have three consecutive days of temple sightseeing in Cambodia as this in our opinion and others on the trip, was too much, especially in the extreme heat. Maybe a trip to the Landmine museum which we passed on the temple visits. Cambodia has a great deal more to offer. We will be using you again next year, thank you.
Both tour leaders in Vietnam and Cambodia were excellent imparting a great deal of knowledge about both their countries and history and cultures.
We had two different tour leaders, one for each country and they both went out of their way to make our trip truly memorable. We have fantastic memories of not just the sites all tourists see but many out of the way places that tourists don't go to and that you can only visit with local knowledge. This meant we had genuine interactions with local people who were welcoming and told us how pleased they were we were visiting their countries. They asked us to spread the word - so do add Vietnam and Cambodia to your destination list. You won't regret it.
We had 2 Explore Leaders both were very knowledgable and helpful. But I think our Cambodian Leader was more experienced and this came across in his over all engagement with us
Our Vietnam itinerary needed to be rearranged due to typhoons resulting in spending more time in the north if Vietnam. Pleased to see the beautiful mountains but now will need to return to see the Hue and Hoi An! Dein in Vietnam and Sitha in Cambodia were both shared their knowledge of their countries enthusiastically. Accommodation was generally quite good although some of the last minute changes meant the hotels were not centrally located. A second night at the homestay in the Mekong Delta would have been welcomed. In Siem Reap a sunrise visit to the temples could be considered instead of two sunsets. A full on three weeks of touring. Lovely company with like minded travellers.
