Saw many wonderful sights. Especially loved the highlands!
Most beautiful part of Scotland
The itinerary was very comprehensive.
Tour was well organised by Tour Director. All destinations reached on time despite some necessary road detours. Excellent and safe coach driving, with help for those who had some mobility problems to board and alight from coach. Historical information given by Tour Director was excellent . Daily instructions as to luggage collection, and time limits when free time allotted was very explicit. I can highly recommend this tour.
A bit rushed in some instances, certainly able to visit all the highlights of the itinerary.
It was a fabulous tour covering such a variety of places and events while also providing a few 2 or 3 night stays, meaning there were less days that required us to pack and move hotels.
is a Great tour director. The accommodation at Kyleakin was appalling and I wouldn’t let my dog sleep on mattress coils like that
The tour director and driver were exceptional, very professional and informative. It covered so much of Scotland. A lot of stairs and walking, Need to be fit Although we did have some folk with walkers or sticks. I am pleased with my purchase. Enjoyed the optional extras.
You will see every inch of Scotland! Amazing trip and loved learning the history.
Every days activities are well planned and the entire holiday went very well thanks to a well organized tour director.
The tour director was rude, inconsiderate and disrespectful. We paid a lot of money, and were treated like school children. Not given enough time to see the attractions, ie recommend 30 minutes walk given 20 minutes. Told off f I r private conversation with partners, promised what's app group only set up on last couple if days of 2nd week and still waiting for Facebook group. Too busy on his phone to assist guests with mobility problems off coach.
The itinerary was a good pace and local knowledge and stories were very enjoyable. The optional experience highlights the quality of the commitment from Trafalgar to give the best of the region we travelled.
, the guide, was excellent. He and the bus drivers planned every day to maximize exposure to Scotland. He was extremely knowledgeable, personable, easy to understand and efficient. The bus was nice and comfortable. We got to see parts of Scotland that other tours miss.
There is a lot of walking, especially on cobblestones, and many hills, both in cities, and on islands. Also, there are many stairs, going into and out of the major tourist attractions. The tour director we had, was extremely knowledgeable about the areas, and was very pleasant, and made sure all the people were looked out for. The roads are very narrow, and many times the tour coach would have to pull over to let other drivers pass that were going in the opposite direction.
All encompassing and exciting tour from start to finish. Our tour guide, was experienced and able to share a wealth of knowledge about the country in a fun and interesting way. In my case, she went above and beyond in providing timely, and invaluable assistance for retrieving an important item I’d left in a prior hotel. I highly recommend this tour.
Best itinerary for seeing Scotland. I loved the entire experience best trip ever. The tour guide was excellent with a dedication to her job that couldn’t be missed. Her knowledge was exceptional and easily understood. was a delight to be around, I can’t praise her enough. I would do this tour again anytime and would recommend it to everyone.
Great sites to see but meals and some hotel rooms were less than desirable for the price paid!
This was a fantastic journey through Scotland with stunning views, lots of castles, Scotland history, and great optional experiences. We especially loved the highlands areas and the Isle of Skye. So many ancient ruins sites were also of great interest. The experiences of being invited into local homes and hearing about Scottish life and stories are very meaningful. The only thing we would suggest to change would be the amount of time given at stops to explore and have lunch on your own to a minimum of two hours. We loved the small town visits but think just a little more free time in those spots would be helpful. We are already recommending this tour to friends, colleagues and family. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity! Special thanks to our tour director, Margot (best ever!) and phenomenal bus driver, Stephen!! Diane and Dan Lemay
This is a beautiful trip. Being in August we were able to see the Tatoo.
Excellent. So much to see from bottom to the top. Must add to have a wonderful tour director and driver was amazing
Comprehensive, many sights, busy days but good because I wanted value for my dollar. Hotels, food and itinerary were all excellent. Guide very knowledgeable and driver very safety conscious and pleasant.
Too much not enough time
Great trip an excellent length of days to able explore Scotland. Driver was considered courteous and careful and polite you felt really at ease. was very knowledgeable and organized. Both excellent. The coach was very comfortable to sit in.
This tour gave us most of what we'd been expecting, as well as many more quality experiences that we hadn't, which was absolutely fantastic, e.g. the Ghost Walk in Edinburgh, a visit to the Clava Cairns of Inverness, and the Street Art Tour of Glasgow. In some places we were a little short on time to enjoy the visit though, and within that same period were also expected to find lunch, e.g. Iona - where we only had 1 hour actually on the island. This was extremely disappointing, as it was one of the main features of the tour that had attracted us. Also, some of the 'optional experiences' were not offered e.g. Dundee walking tour and Bagpipes at the Corinthian. Overall however, a great experience. I must give a big shout-out to our peerless driver, *personal info removed by Feefo* for his skill in navigating the narrow and winding highways and byways. Most particularly I would like to acknowledge the hotel staff of the Royal Hotel on Skye who battled the totally unforeseen fury of Storm Floris. The managed to feed and house us without power and in the dark when the island was under a blackout for the entire time we were there - they were terrific.
This trip, the guide, drivers and excursions were wonderful. History, beautiful scenery and lots of fun. Exceeded my expectations!
Beautiful scenery, awesome photo opportunity's and packed full of history. Bus drivers were excellent drivers and *personal info removed by Feefo* our tour guide was friendly, helpful and very, very knowledgeable! I enjoyed her company. Thanks so much.
The itinerary was excellent being able to visit many towns and cities at a sensible pace and the tour guide had exceptional knowledge of Scotland and its history and culture
Excellent itinerary. Would have liked additional time on Orkney, but that is a personal preference; I fell in love with Orkney.
