Stirling: Explore the sights of Stirling and get a selfie with the memorial to the iconic Scottish knight.
St. Andrews: If you like golf, you’ll love St Andrews. But if you think it spoils a nice walk in the park, there’s also Swilcan Bridge.
Mallaig: We'll visit Helix Park, home to The Kelpies (horse statues, standing at 100ft tall & weighing more than 300 tonnes each). It's a wonder to behold. Plus, there's also an adventure play park with woodlands and boardwalks for some added fun.
Loch Ness: Sit back, relax and cruise along the loch with your Contiki crew. But keep your eyes peeled and camera ready for mythical ‘Nessie’.
Scottish Highlands: Ever wondered how native animal species - like the Scottish Red Squirrel, Lynx and Beavers - are reintroduced into the wild? Come learn about it all from an expert (who'll also tell you how the Caledonian pine forest is being reforested too!). Every penny you spend here will directly support Trees for Life, a TreadRight supported project.
Bagpipes, castles, and heather-clad highlands—Scotland’s legends come alive on the 6-day "Scotland in a Week" trip, designed with young adventurers in mind. Starting in Edinburgh and finishing in Glasgow, this lively tour whisks you through the heart of Scottish culture, from the storied streets of the capital to the dramatic landscapes of the Highlands.
Along the way, you’ll explore mystical castles, sip whisky by lochs, and perhaps even don a kilt for that perfect photo op. The itinerary balances iconic sights with hidden local gems, ensuring you experience both the grand and the quirky sides of Scotland. Accommodation, transport, and meals are all taken care of, letting you focus on soaking up the spirit of the land—maybe even spotting Nessie in the process!

It was wonderful ! Driving through the Highlands was definitely a highlight :)-- LOVED the trip it was well paced.
It was last minute decision for me. I booked the trip 2 weeks before going. It was a great experience. We got to see the Edinburgh castle, do whisky tasting, take a Loch Ness boat cruise and so much more! The weather was amazing, no rain. I would highly recommended this trip!
Very fun. Lots of early mornings but a mixture of activities and free time
Great time, met amazing people, great tour with an amazing tour guides. Beautiful country love the history and the old architectures. Loved the shops and pubs. Cant wait for another tour and thank you for the experience.
Jodie was amazing!! It was a quick, fast paced trip, but we got to see a little of everything. Definitely do an extra day in Edinburgh. That city is so cool! The add-ons were great, I thought.
I think the locations that were included in the trip were good. I think more of the free time add-ons should have been included on the trip since the price was fairly expensive. I also feel like the food from the free time add on was not very authentic.
and were amazing and made the trip experience even better
We thought the contiki tour was great and well organized. Our trip manager was very helpful! We loved all the included day time experiences and we felt like they gave us enough time to explore at each drop off. Also, it was nice that we could opt out of the add on experiences and do our own thing too. However, I will say contiki was more catered to younger 20s single travelers looking to drink and party together. We did not participate in the group night time activities but at times we felt pressured because we were the only ones not going to meet up at the pub. Because it was more catered to that population we probably won’t be going on another contiki trip. Nothing against contiki - they did a great job with the itinerary, but we just felt like the people were there for different reasons than us.
This trip was such a fun way to cross off everything off the bucket list in Scotland. I felt like I was in each destination for the right amount of time. My trip manager was amazing and made the best suggestions for each city. The Highland Games FTA is a must for everyone and was one of my highlights of the trip. I wish I extended my trip into the Ireland portion because I truly enjoyed the group and TM I was with. One of my favourite trips for sure!!
So fun! Got to see the best parts of Scotland with an amazing guide!
