Travel to Pokhara to admire Phewa Lake and dramatic Himalayan views, then trek to the traditional Gurung village of Ghandruk for panoramic peaks and local hospitality. Finish in Chitwan National Park with thrilling safaris by jeep and canoe to spot rhinos, elephants, and abundant birdlife.
This compact tour blends history, nature, and adventure into one immersive Nepali experience, ideal for first-time visitors and seasoned travelers, with local guides, comfortable stays, and authentic meals.
Arrive in the capital city of Kathmandu, then take a flight to the town of Pokhara. In the evening, take a short walk to a spot along the lake to witness the Arati Ceremony, a spiritual experience featuring chanting, prayers, and the lighting of lamps. After the ceremony, you can either remain in town or walk back to the hotel.
Start the morning early with a hot-air balloon ride over a breathtaking landscape. After returning to the hotel for breakfast, visit the hill station of Pumdikot Shiva Statue and enjoy the views. Continue to the World Peace Pagoda, stopping along the trail at scenic lookout points.
Next, explore Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave and walk to the small Davis Falls (swimming is not allowed). Afterward, enjoy lunch before visiting the International Mountain Museum to learn about the history of hiking in Nepal. Continue to Bindhyabasini Temple, then return to town to the dock for a private scenic boat ride.
Take a day trip starting from a parking lot, then hike steeply for 30 minutes to reach the village of Ghandruk. After purchasing lunch, begin your guided hike, with the duration depending on your discussion with the tour guide the evening before. After the hike, return to your hotel in Pokhara.
Optional: Let us know if you would like to add paragliding over Phewa Lake today.
Fly from Pokhara to Bharatpur, then travel by land to your ecolodge near Chitwan National Park. Highlights include spotting crocodiles and various bird species on a canoe ride, visiting the elephant breeding center, taking a 4x4 safari into the park, and enjoying a cultural show with traditional dances.
All meals and basic drinks are included during your stay at the ecolodge. If you wish to extend your time in the park, let us know, as the 8-day package includes only one night here.
Fly from Bharatpur back to the capital, Kathmandu. Before heading to the hotel, visit Pashupatinath Temple. Note that there is a section where a cremation ceremony may be observed. If you prefer not to see this section, inform your tour guide in advance.
Start the morning early with a flightseeing tour over Mount Everest. Return to the hotel for breakfast and a short rest before exploring Kathmandu. Visit Durbar Square (Hanuman Dhoka) on foot, starting with the Old Palace, then Kumari Ghar (House of the Living Goddess), where a girl believed by locals to be a living goddess may appear in a window. Continue to Bhairav Statue, Taleju Temple, and Kasthamandap Temple, then walk through the outdoor market area of Ason before purchasing lunch.
After lunch, travel by car to Monkey Temple (Swoyambhu Mahachaitya), then to the base of a cable car station for a ride to Chandragiri Hills to enjoy the views. Dinner is recommended at the nearby hotel within walking distance, then return to your hotel. For nightlife, explore Thamel, known for its lively bars, pubs, clubs, late-night shops, live music, karaoke, and themed venues.
Take an excursion to the city of Patan for a walking tour of the old town, centered around Durbar Square. Next, visit Bhaktapur for another walking tour. Often called a living museum, Bhaktapur features four historic squares and several side streets worth exploring. Lunch is recommended after the tour, with several restaurants available in the main square.
In the late afternoon, return to Kathmandu to visit Boudhanath Stupa. The stupa is impressive, and the two monasteries within the surrounding area are both historical and visually striking. After the tour, dinner is recommended before returning to the hotel.
The tour ends this morning. Transportation is arranged to take you to the airport in Kathmandu.
