day 1 - Pokhara,drive Nayapul, Ghandruk (1940m)

We drive about an hour to Nayapul, the place we start our trek and end our trek. We begin trekking to Ghandruk. Note: We have to be in Pokhara the day before the trek or you can take early morning flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu same day and then the trek can be done .

day 2 - Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2170m)

Beautiful sunrise views over the Himalayas is seen. So, to capture that excellent views, we wake up quite early in the morning enjoy the warm rays of sunrise and have our heartly breakfast then after. We being our trekking activity walking through beautiful forests, which will be a mixture of uphill and downhill trails crossing the river via suspension bridges. Later after crossing Chhomrong river we take a short ascend to arrive at Chhomrong. Accommodation: Local lodge.

day 3 - Chhomrong to Bamboo (2310m)

Today after having our breakfast at local teahouse in Chhomrong, we try to reach Bamboo after 4 to 5 hours of walk. the refreshing forest walks, striking waterfalls, greenery, mostly ascending through the uphill stairs trails, many teahouse, pot plants, local teahouses and restaurants, we have our lunch and check in into one of the local teahouse for overnight stay. Accommodation: Local lodge. Included Meal: B, L, D

day 4 - Bamboo to Deurali (3200m)

We start our day as usual trekking through the dense green forests enjoying the amazing views of nature, flora, fauna, wildlife. After getting higher than 3200m of an altitude, you might feel the symptoms of AMS, so hiking slowly and carefully, we make our way towards Deurali. It is very important to stay overnight here in Deurali even if we have time today to be at MBC. Proper acclimatization is important. Accommodation: Local lodge. Included Meal: B, L, D

day 5 - Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp(4,130m) via MBC (3700m)

Today is the most important day of our trip as we will be arriving at Annapurna Base Camp. Initially, we make our way through quite a steep ascent, pass through the Hinku Cave, rock cliffs and sparse vegetation. We could see the change in vegetation from tropical to alpine types.

We plan to make your trip extra special by staying overnight at tea house in Annapurna base camp. Therefore, to do so, we leave behind Machhapuchre base camp today and finally arrive at ABC. Enjoy the 360 live view of Annapurna Himalayas and simply immerse in the natural beauty specially in sunrise and sunset. Accommodation: Local lodge. Included Meal: B, L, D

day 6 - Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2310m)

As we are returning now, we already start to miss the amazing surroundings at ABC. It will be mostly a downhill trek with couple of ascends too. Even though we are following the same route down, there will be different perspective. We walk carefully through forest trails controlling our shaky legs and finally arrive at Bamboo. Accommodation: Local lodge. Included Meal: B, L, D

day 7 - Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1780m)

We further descend through the ABC trekking trails today. Today we leave behind Bamboo, Chhomrong and finally arrive at Jhinu Danda. It will be mostly descending today also with few incline walks. We cross the Chhomrong river and arrive at Jhinu. After walking about 20 minutes down the main trail, we can be at natural hot spring place. We take a dip in and enjoy the natural hot water spa. It relaxes our tired muscles and boosts our energy. Later at the end of the day, we take a good night sleep. Accommodation: Local lodge. Included Meal: B, L, D

day 8 - Trek to Nayapul, drive to Pokhara -trek ends

Today is the final day of our Annapurna Base Camp Trek – 8 days. After having our breakfast at local lodge, we descend crossing the small river stream via suspension bridge and arrive at Nayapul. Further take an hour drive from Nayapul to Pokhara that finally ends our ABC trek.

You can fly back to Kathmandu same day if you are tight of time. If you time availability, spending a night or two in Pokhara is recommended as it is a beautiful natural city good to spend time after a trek. Accommodation: Not Included. Included Meal: B, L
