Explore the scenic estancias, immerse yourself in the desert and mountain landscapes of Salta, and bask in the authenticity of local villages far from the crowds. This trip masterfully blends easy-paced exploration with rich cultural encounters, making it ideal for travelers who crave both comfort and discovery. The USP: experiencing Argentina’s ‘newest hotspot’—a region where traditional lifestyles and stunning nature create memories that last a lifetime.

day 1Travel to Argentina, first stop Buenos Aires

Welcome to Argentina!
Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel and have the rest of the day to enjoy at your own pace.
Buenos Aires is a marvelous and furious cosmopolitan city, full of colors and different kinds of architecture. Capital of Argentina and described as the Paris of South America, Buenos Aires proudly embraces this title, as well as showing off plenty of its own culture!
Argentines are usually eager to host visitors: if you walk the streets with a map, someone will surely stop and ask if you need directions. That’s our spirit! So, for this first day, feel free to wander the cobblestone streets lined with outdoor cafes, enjoy the mouthwatering aroma of prized Argentine beef sizzling on an open “parrilla” (barbecue) and browse the local antique and artisan markets that offer plenty of bargain shopping. And to travel deeper and have a firm grip of the Argentine spirit, find the perfect leather jacket or handbag (Buenos Aires is home to some excellent local designers) and explore the colorful Palermo Soho neighborhoods.

A great trip!

We loved Argentina! The people were so very kind and the parts of the country that we saw are beautiful. We really enjoyed the food. (I’m going to try my hand at making empanadas). We went on many hikes and took tons of photos. We can’t thank you enough for the planning and all the arrangements made for us. We had a truly memorable time in the beautiful Argentina.

A wonderful trip!

The team was extremely helpful from booking our internal flights when I could not find good pricing to buying us tickets for the performance at the Colon Theatre. She also answered all of my many questions. It is hard to pick a favorite excursion between Buenos Aires, Salta area and the Iguazu Falls. If pushed to make a decision we loved the mountains – both the trip to the Great Salt Flats and the Humahuaca and Conchas Gorges. We were probably most blown away by the drive through the Conchas Gorge to and from Cafayate but, at the same time when we were at the top of Humahuaca Gorge the view was unbelievable. And we saw a condor! We liked the mix of tour and time on our own to explore. I went with a very open mind so there was nothing that did not fulfill my expectations. I already miss the croissants and empanadas and hope to return one day to explore the central region and Patagonia.

Highly recommended!

Our trip: Buenos Aires, Igauzu Falls, Salta, Huhuamaca Canyon/Valley, Purmamarca, Salt Flats. You will not find a better way to see these cities and sites, or any other place in Argentina than Say Hueque. Talk about worry-free, accomodating, flexible. Thay are simply the best. Highly recommend!
