The 3 hotels worked for us. We hate it when we have to pack/repack to often. Our party of 4 like the itinerary also. Our TD mentioned plenty of stuff to do with our free time too. Loved amount of free time also.

Great trip with Andrés. Other than Mendoza & Buenos Aires we saw practically no foreign tourists. Great wineries, amazing scenery, some bumpy roads. Some places we arrived late & left early after staying in hotels outside the centre so never really saw small town Argentina other than for rest stops. Salta looked an interesting city but only had a short walk in centre, following day was a long day out of town and we left early the following day. Salta deserves a full free day.

This was a dream trip to a part of the world I never thought I would see. It did not disappoint! It was late in the season for Patagonia but we were lucky to have only a couple of really bad weather days. We had a great group and an excellent and knowledgeable leader in Andres. Highlights were visiting Ushuaia at the southern tip of the world, Torres del Paine National Park, and seeing a glacier up close. The trip is bookended by Buenos Aires, and it’s well worth while allowing extra time to get to know this interesting city. The trip is a winner!!

It was my first trip with Trafalgar, and one of my best decisions . It was an and dream experience. The program, itinerary and the schedule were perfect for me. With the quality and amount of information that we’ve got from Luana it’s really turned out to be unforgettable. Luana the information, your stories and history snapshots were the highlight every day. They are the chain holding together all the memories of this trip. Thank you!

The hotel in Buenos Aires wasn't in a great neighborhood--Palermo would have been much nicer. My only complaint about the itinerary was too much downtime in San Pedro de Atacama. It would have been good to have one afternoon free, but two was too much without an idea of what else there is to do. Even providing a list of possible excursions would have been helpful. Other than that, I loved the itinerary--we saw and did so much! I preferred spending three night in Uyuni--our scheduled night in Tupiza was changed due to elections that day. However, even though you changed our itinerary to have us stay in Uyuni that night, our drivers couldn't take us out because they didn't have permission to do so until late afternoon/early evening. Everything worked out OK in the end, but we basically sat around all day in the hotel, and I think that could have been handled better. Our guide for the whole trip, Carolina, was superb! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and very approachable. Our local guides were also good, some more than others.

An amazing trip. Atop +10. I’ve been telling friends & family all about it since we’ve been home. It’s such an all encompassing trip from the location, the sites, the travel guides to the travel manager who accompanied us on all the whole trip, to all the locals and the other travels on our small group of 16. The people were wonderful, the sites. accommodations, food, travel by bus, plane or ship was easy and delightful. i’ll be back to see more of Patagonia, Argentina, Chile and more.
