I enjoyed my Mera expedition very much as it fully met my expectations. Throughout the whole process Prakash, Team Leader, was absolutely wonderful to work with in organizing the trip. He was always quick to respond to any questions that I had. When I arrived, we met in his office to thoroughly discuss the logistics of the trip, recent weather conditions, etc. During the trip, I found that the lodging was clean, and food was of good quality considering the isolated environment in which were hiking. It is a beautiful area, and the route was never over-crowded. The expedition was well organized and stayed true to the itinerary. My guide, Sonam Sherpa, met me at the airport and throughout the trip he always made me feel safe. Each night he explained the plan for the next day. During the day, he saw to it that I wasn’t overexerting myself and make sure I was hydrating, eating well and resting when I needed to. I appreciated the attention that he gave me as well as his graceful attitude. All this and the acclimatization schedule ensured my success while ascending, summiting and descending. Sonam’s insights into the religion and local culture were an added plus. Without a doubt, one of my best trekking experiences thus far. I would highly recommend this local travel specialist for a wonderful climbing experience.
Trip was extremely smooth right from the point where I got picked up from the Airport till my drop back to the Airport. I had planned for a spring trek; which the unpredictable weather made it an all-season trek. Despite the unpredictability, Thile Sherpa was extremely calm and he ensured that all the facilities were provided for; made sure that I completed the Summit. In our second climb travel to Himalaya, we have sucessfully climbed Mera Peak (6475m) thanks to organitzation of Nepal Guide Treks&expedition. Mr. Prakash Devkota (director) and his team, Nang Dorji (excellent guide with a long climbing experience), Sonam and Kiran (strong porters and excellent people) provide us excellent service, best advices and valuable help in all moment. At the first, they advice best route for get a good acclimatization: a beautiful 7 days trekking till Khare (base camp) excellent phisical preparation for climb. Excellent food and rest in all lodges provided while trek; good planification activity/rest; and excellent services and assistance while the climb mountain (2 days) And fast and efficient solution when a member of group had an injury while the descend from the summit. Great experience with a great team. Next time in Nepal, we will repeat. Sure.

I just recently got back from Climbing Mera peak that was great experience for me. Service provided by Nepal Guide Treks was great. My guide Ang Dawa Sherpa was skilled climbing guide which he navigates to me up to Mera Peak. we across different village and landscapes of this region during trekking.when I reached the top of Mera Peak with my guide, What I said that was beyond my imagination. Me and my friend completed the Mera Peak Climbing with guide Krishna and our porter Lakpa. It was an amazing experience and they were great from start to finish. Very friendly and helpful and we got along with them very well. At night it was bit too cold but the surroundings were very fascinating. Climbing to the top was difficult with many loose stones but was amazing. The trip was well organized right from the airport pick up, and the days were flexible to suit our walking speed. I would highly recommend and will never forget the trip
I visited couple time in Nepal for trekking with my husband. But this time we want take a wild adventure thrill to peak climbing experience.We research about Mera peak, and inquiry about Mera peak with different peak climbing company in Nepal.we decide to climb Mera Peak with Nepal guide Treks. Mera Peak is not technically peak or trekking peak by Nepal Government so we think it easy to climb. We have little bit knowledge of climbing experience but we confident to climb Mera Peak with Our Sherpa guide Dendi Sherpa, who more 20 times and Mount Everest Summitter. That was honor for us with vast experience on peak climbing guide during our trip. We fly from Kathmandu to Lukla. Our porter help to carry our baggage.During trekking, we saw various altitude landscape, forest and also close of himalaya. we trek up to Mera peak Base camp then Mera high Camp that was far better than we imagine. We ascend towards Mera peak slowly it takes 7-8 hours to reach the top of Mera Peak with help and guidance provided by our guide Dendi. That was awesome experience reached the top of Mera Peak. We saw an amazing view of Mount Everest, Cho Oyu, Makalu and Other peaks.Then we descend slowly towards base camp to Lukla. We celebrate succesful party with our guide and porter without them, we cannot achieve this. Everything went well without anything happens.
My trip to Nepal turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences I ever had. I already visit more than three times in Nepal for trekking, especially in Everest and Annapurna Region. In this time, Me and my friends want to climb Mera Peak. In Australia, We climb Mt. Kosciuszko which Australia's highest peak just 2228 m. It too small compare the Nepali mountain. Mera peak 6476 m more than double in height of Mt. Kosciuszko. This challenging and exciting experience for us. So, We decide climb Mera peak with our organizer Nepal Guide Treks. Our guide Ang Dawa Sherpa is a lot of experience in Nepal himalayan region. He climbs more 10 times Mera Peak. so, We are happy to get experience guide with immense knowledge of Mera peak. He told us a lot of things about Mera peak and Nepali mountain. First, I felt difficult to trek continuously more 6-7 hrs daily. But our guide motivates to us, that helps to push our limit. At last, we successfully climb Mera Peak and above top of view is beyond our imagination. Seeing most beautiful panoramic views of Everest, Makalu and other himalayan range. We had an incredible Mera Peak climbing experience with Nepal guide. From the beginning, our queries were brifely explained about travel, training, all needs etc. Guides and porters were best. Everything went well throughout the trek and the day of the summit was a successful. I was lucky to have an incredible view from the top.The effort we made for this trip was worthy, the place was like paradise. The surroundings were fantastic and I will like to stay there forever. All in all, it was a very positive trip - a fun and challenging trek in a beautiful place.
