Itinerary

Craving an off-the-beaten-path trekking adventure in Nepal? The "Manaslu Circuit & Base Camp Trek" is a 20-day guided tour perfect for experienced hikers and curious seniors looking for a challenging yet culturally rich experience. Starting and ending in Kathmandu, this trip ventures deep into the remote Manaslu region, circling the world’s seventh highest mountain (8,167m) and crossing the breathtaking Larkya La Pass.

The trek weaves through terraced foothills, sub-tropical forests, and high-altitude landscapes reminiscent of Tibet, offering encounters with remote Buddhist villages and diverse local cultures near the Tibetan border. Highlights include a foray to Manaslu Base Camp—frequented by mountaineering expeditions—and awe-inspiring panoramas from the Larkya La. The journey concludes in bustling Annapurna region villages, making for a rewarding circuit of dramatic scenery and authentic Himalayan life.

Unique to this trekking tour package is its combination of raw natural beauty and cultural immersion in one of Nepal’s least-visited regions—a true gem for those seeking adventure beyond the classic trails.

Guillia put a great self-drive tour together for us and Susana looked after us as we travelled. (Even when we got lost) The car and accommodation was good and the guides patient and informative. Only issue we had was parking in small villages, garages, and cities. Apart from the parking we had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, thank you.
