Imagine trekking through a valley flanked by glaciers, pine forests, and ancient monasteries—this is what awaits on the "Langtang Valley View Trekking" tour. Just north of Kathmandu, this journey is perfect for young adults and seniors drawn to culture-rich adventures and breathtaking mountain scenery. Pass through friendly Tamang villages, absorb Tibetan-influenced traditions, and, if you choose, summit Kyangjin Ri for panoramic Himalayan views—no technical experience needed. The trip’s USP? Its unique mix of gentle trekking, cultural encounters, and the chance to climb a 4900m peak, all within easy reach of Kathmandu. Perfect for those seeking both natural beauty and authentic local interaction.
A 7-day Langtang trek with this local tour operator is highly recommended! We had five wonderful, tough, fun, beautiful, and overwhelming days of trekking, experiencing Nepal’s raw natural power up close. We hiked from Syabrubesi to Kyanjin Gompa (a 2,400-meter altitude gain!) in three days and descended in two. Along the way, we passed through lush forests, steep mountain slopes, and even snowy trails. When the weather was clear, the views of countless towering peaks were absolutely unforgettable. The entire experience was guided by our experienced guide, Binod, and our knees were especially grateful to have the kind porter, Rajendra, with us. Binod managed everything perfectly, paid close attention to how we were feeling, and adjusted the pace according to our needs. He was also very aware of altitude sickness symptoms. We took Diamox but didn’t experience any issues. Unfortunately, I caught a bad cold just before the trek, but Binod was ready with medicine, Strepsils, and ginger tea. He and Rajendra make a fun duo, adding to the fantastic experience! Along the way, the company were easy to reach if we needed any additional assistance – though we never actually had to. We were two sisters on this adventure, and we are SO happy that we gave ourselves this experience!

It’s my first time in Nepal. Just been an amazing experience. Langtang Valley Trek is a heaven on earth full of diversity between the treks through the forrest, following the river and snow-capped mountains. I was also able to see different animals along the way. Great place to experience. Shiva planned all of my trip and I’m most thankful for that. He listened to my requests and took in consideration what I wanted to do and the time that I had. With all of that he prepared a perfect and personalized itinerary. Up next I will definitely visit Everest Base Camp and suggest Everyone don't miss this opportunity.
The trip was great, perfectly hard, relaxing and so so SO beautiful. Our guide and porters were super kind, helpful, informative and nice to be around! Highly recommend for both beginners, intermediate hikers.
Very beautiful all the way with spectacular views of mountains on the top! All the people at the guesthouses are extremely friendly.
Excellent Trek experience, Langtang Valley View 7 day trek challenging but rewarding beginner trek for my partner and I are first timers. Expect some tender calf muscles by day 3 and 4! Our guide Binod was exceedingly helpful throughout the experience and we felt felt well looked after the whole time. Dal Buht power!

For our first trek in Nepal it was incredible! It wasnt a hard trek but you knew you were working for the spectacular views at the end. For this experience we are already planning our next trip back!

Bikash was a great guide and everything ran smoothly. Great experience and simpler than organising yourself if youre time limited. We carried our own bags - it was challenging at points but still really fun overall.
My husband and I had such a wonderful time on this trek! We had a great guide, Prakash, who made sure that we were getting enough water and was able to tell us all about the area, it's history, and it's people. We wnt in late March and had great weather - a decent snowstorm on our second night treking, but it added the the beauty of the next day. While this hike was challenging with how steep it can get, it is nothing that frequent rests won't take care or, and I think it is super accessible for folks. Would absolutely recommend.
The trek couldn't have gone any better really, great weather, fantastic scenery and a very good guide Bishnu who was friendly and helpful.
We couldn't have been happier with this adventure. The views left us breathless, we enjoyed every single moment. Bishnu was very knowledgeable of the region, always had an answer for our questions and although he started as a guide, now it feels like we are leaving a good friend in Nepal. The lodges were all very comfortable (considering we are used to sleep in tents), and even though the temperatures were very low at night, we always felt warm with our sleeping bag and the duvet provided at each accommodation. Highly recommended to get the jeep to Syabrubessi, specially if you tend to suffer from travel sickness. We decided to take it in the last minute and never regretted. Will definitely visit Nepal again!
Amazing amazing trek! Throughly enjoyed every moment. I went into this trek without any prior experience and I think it was the perfect taste. Highly recommend!
Having not done any real trekking before, my friend and I opted to go with a guide, and we decided on Nepal Lion for organizing our trip. Langtang Valley View Trek was a great choice, being relatively easy and offering great views. Having done our trek in June, we got quite lucky with the weather, and were able to see mostly-unobstructed views. Our guide Binod was quite knowledgeable and helpful throughout our trip, and allowed us to choose our own pace. The teahouses and lodges were all fairly nice and cozy, with a good selection of food. My only complaint might be that for $475, only one drink (a tea or coffee) is included per day. Make sure you have at least a few thousand rupees to spare if you want something other than water with your meals. Overall though, the trek was very enjoyable and stress-free. Highly reccomend.
What a great trip. Excellent service and our guide, Bishnu, was fantastic. I went as a solo traveler but chose to join a group which included 2 British guys and we ended upp having a great time. Beautiful scenery and great weather, except when we summited Kyanjing Ri for a sunrise view when it was a bit cloudy, but overall very nice. The accommodations were a bit rustic, but are improving due to the rebuilding after the Earthquake of 2015. I'd definitely recommend for those with limited time in Nepal who want a wonderful trek through the Himalayas.
My wife and I took this adventure in the middle of March 2018. If you're limited on time, I can't imagine a better trek. The variety and beauty of the scenery is captivating. The people are wonderful and warming. Our guide Prakash was fabulous and very sweet -- he had a great rapport with everyone on the trail and he certainly had our trust. He's very honest and made sure we had fun. Thank you!!!
Excellent Trek, great service package, best Guide. Our Guide Suresh picked up us already at the airport and was with us until our flight back. It was more than impressiv how he guided us through this amazing nature of Langtang Valley. Always friendly and a smile in his face. You could feel that the mountains and guiding in more than a job, it's his passion. The tour was amazing. Arrived in the mountains after a one day bus experience, you pass very different natures every couple of hours. The last village at 3.800m was a mind blowing impression. You will love it. We also got great food 3 times per day. I would only recommend to take 1 additional day in the highest village to even more enjoy the trip.
Its a great trek. You get some unmatched views of the ranges. Everyday you get to trek through different terrains. The tea houses offer great service and food without being pushy. Go for it.

Langtang Valley is a very nice area to go hiking. Different terrains, nice people and awesome views. Our guide Binod was also very careful and helped us as best as he could. His English wasnt fluent but good enough to communicate to avoid misunderstandings. If somebodies carrying a little more luggage it is easier with porter although we didnt have one. The trek is not as easy as promoted, especially for complete beginners or people that are not fit at all. The trek itself is very easy to find. Its almost the same way up and down. I would recommend going there because its less touristic than other short treks in Nepal.
