Journeys: Discover India

Before going to India, I could not imagine seeing the country on my own & this experience confirmed it would have been difficult to do & see as much as we did without G Adventures curating all the activities/experiences. Like, learning about the street kids at the beginning of our trip really set the tone & helped us navigate this issue throughout our stay. As all countries, India struggles with many challenges but I am humbled by their history, art, religious inclusion, thoughtfulness about the future & ability to take action for the greater good. All guides, including Som, exuded this culture and way of life which provided insight to how India works. It brought some order to the very visible chaos that we saw on the streets. This was something special that I didn’t expect to experience on a group tour. We saw more & ate so much more than I thought we could ever do in a two-week visit! Thank you for all the amazing moments. Now it’s time to sort through 2000 photos

In sights, sounds, smells, it was exhilarating. Culturally, historically & religiously, my eyes were opened much wider. I immensely enjoyed the total experience. Kudos to CEO, Som and to Gadventures! Thank you

I grew to love India on this trip - the colors, the noise (even the horn honking!), the variety of sights. The monuments were spectacular, but the most special moments were ones where we got to meet the people in India - at evening prayer services, at Shero's Cafe, at the Sikh Temple preparing meals. It's a trip I'll never forget. Also - it is a great place to shop! The shopping stops we were provided were excellent.

Great introduction to India. I was good to see the monuments but also to see the Planeterra projects and have the cultural experiences like Hindu worship and food "tour"

The sights were amazing to see, as expected. But the ability to experience the country, and to see how people live, was even more interesting, and I think some of the experiences also distinguished G Adventure trips from other trips to basically the same venues. Also, I learned so much more about the country, the various religions, traditions, and activities of daily life than I ever expected.

Thank goodness for our wonderful guide Dushyant and the itinerary that gave us a great and fascinating journey through Northern India . Well done it ticked all my boxes .

The gadventures crew were excellent ambassadors for the company and for India. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe at all times, and I learned so much as our guide helped us navigate through the ?music? of India. I never could?ve achieved this on my own. I do need another vacation to recuperate from our India trip however, but that?s a good thing! Not one dull moment!

G Adventures combines the right mix of rare/indigenous wildlife spotting, UNESCO site visits and interaction with locals. Wonderful memories are made with each tour.
