One of the tour’s standout features is its inclusion of Bratislava, offering a taste of Slovakia’s capital as part of a seamless European adventure. Whether you’re a history buff, music lover, or simply seeking an enriching family getaway, "Imperial Highlights" delivers a stately blend of comfort, culture, and iconic sights.
Good quality accommodation and excellent options to choose from on the trip.
The hotel accommodations were decent for the most part, small and simple. But we didn't spend much time there, all we needed was a bed to sleep on and a shower. A complete breakfast buffet was available at each hotel which we appreciated (although they don't seem to know how to make scrambled eggs over there LOL). The itinerary was packed with fun activities; we participated in all of them and only one was a little bit disappointing, but that wasn't anyone's fault. The photo is my husband and me with our tour guide and our bus driver . They were a great team.
Excellent and full itinerary, especially the optional excursions, all which gave me a full understanding of the Hungarian/Austrian history, Kings, the architecture and insight to the culture today.
Great itinerary, bus rides were not too long and I felt I saw a lot in 9 days
The itinerary was well chosen and planned. We had lots of time to tour every destination, along with ample free time. The communities we visited were beautiful and had so much to offer as a tourist.
It’s important to take full advantage of the optional excursions so you can be fully emerged in the cultural.
The scenic Mountain View’s were extravagantly beautiful! The history of each location was memorable and exciting. It makes you want to explore even more countries.
Saw important sites. We feel like we really experienced each place.
Itinerary had a lot of flexibility. If you choose to do an excursion… great! If not, afternoons are free to do museum tours or just enjoy the cities on your own. Something for everyone,
Imperial highlights was a fantastic tour. The included sightseeing with the local guide was invaluable plus the optional experiences. The slower pace allowed us to really experience each city without thr usual rush of one night in each city.
An excellent itinerary. Would have love to see more about Munich and Vienna was a bit rushed.
Its value for money indeed
Great itinerary. A little rushed at times but was necessary as covered many sites.
Excellent itinerary but requires participation in numerous quite costly Optional Experience to make the Tour worthwhile.
Fun and affordable
So much packed in if all the optional choice experiences are included, but we still had at least a couple hours or so a day to rest, which was important for our 70s bodies.
The itinerary was fair seeing the we want to see as much as possible in the time frame. Loved the optionals. The hotel rooms especially the bathrooms were so tiny, I could nearly change my mind in it. This can definitely improve.
we went to Germany, czech republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Austia. Worth it and cost efficient.
It is strenuous, with early mornings, but very well organized
Overall the trip is great, only downside side is the Prague boat cruise is somewhat lacking when compared to the cruise in Budapest
The itinerary was good. Stops for breaks and city’s good.
Good tour for an overview of this region. Would recommend for anyone who wants to see a number of the old European capitals and sites and not wanting a deep dive into a specific country or region.
Great value for a trip of a lifetime. Nice hotels, good value for the optional trips, and so much to see and do.
Well planned itinerary
Good pace, and good locations. Add-on experiences were generally excellent and fun, especially Eagle's Nest Tour.
