Every thing fine . A bit more in-depth info before would good .. A bit of a hassle when we stayed at holiday express don’t put fridges in the rooms.
8am departures everyday are not very convenient, there was no reason to rush us at 7:30am and complete the sight seeing by 11 am we have rest of the day for ourselves. I picked Trafalgar particularly so that there will not be 8am departures. With kids it is hard everyday to get them ready and we do not know what to do rest of the day for them (how to keep them engaged)
if you want to see several cities quickly, this is the trip for you. if you want to spend more time to get to know the city, this tour is not for you.
All the popular and atteactive tourist places were covered. Generally our group arrived at tourist location as a first group thus less crowded at that time. All the formalities of hotel check-in, luggage delivery, buying entry tickets, etc were taken care by the guide. In few cities, free time was less to explore and do any shopping.
Enjoyed the trip and the itinerary. Tour director was very good and fellow travellers were always on time at our meeting points. A wonderful group to travel with. I found that there were too many optional tours but decided to take part in all of them which added quite a bit to the overall price. I think Trafalgar needs to have more of these tours included in the price as they are not being competitive with other travel tour companies. Also way too many requests for tips from included tours with local guides and also from the optional tours. This got to be annoying and took away from the overall enjoyment of this tour. Perhaps a solution would be for Trafalgar to pay the local guides a bit more and do away with the added obligation of tipping.
