Highlights of Turkey

Really interesting tour. Visited many historical places. Our guide Tolga was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the places we saw and a lovely guy.

It would have been nice to have another day and night in Istanbul, to explore a little more some of the sites we saw. Tolga, our tour leader was excellent, knowledgeable, friendly, patient and fun. The driver, Atilla was helpful and friendly too. This is a full on itinerary, and is sold as such. Fantastic to be able to see so much in just a week.

Really interesting tour with a great group of people. Our tour guide Tolga was friendly and very knowledgeable. I would have loved more time in Istanbul so factor this in pre-tour. Highlights were Istanbul, Ephesus and Dalyan at the end of the tour I shall definitely be returning to Turkey.

The tour didn’t allow much time to explore living culture. It was more of an academic tour of archaeological sites with a few tourist spots in between - I would have appreciated a bit more time to take on the history and see what local living is like! Some hotels were well below average. We had a nice group of people which made the tour enjoyable.

Disliked having an explanation of where we were whilst on site. Should be done on the bus before arrival.

Turkey is incredible, and this trip was made perfect by our tour guide and the people who joined us on the tour. There were so many wonderful experiences - the sightseeing, the food, and the exploring. We have come home inspired to save up for the next tour trip!

This tour was fabulous. All the places we visited were special in their own way. Some long days of driving but completely understandable as we travelled from one end of the country to the other. Our tour guide Torun was incredible not only with his amazing knowledge of all the sites we visited but with the warmth of his welcome to his country, his willingness to answer any questions put to him, the stories he shared with us, the food he recommended and the way he ensured that every person was extremely well looked after. Our driver Jen was a careful and confident driver who ensured we were safe on the roads. All in all a wonderful experience.
