Everest Base Camp with Helicopter Return

My family and I did a 9 day trek to Everest Base Camp with a helicopter ride back to Kathmandu. Our experience with this local tour specialist was outstanding. From our first contact with the owner Subash, he answered any of our questions or concerns with great detail. Once we arrived in Kathmandu, Subash met with us to go over details and provided us some top-notch gear that was advertised we could use. We were very happy we took this on our trek (sleeping bag, walking sticks, jackets)! Once we got to Lukla, we met our guide and porters. Our guide Shambhu was excellent throughout the trek. He always took care of us and provided options for different viewpoints, accommodations or recommendations. He was very kind in nature and made us feel like family. Our porters Ram and Kaji were always very welcoming and greeted us with smiles. Overall experience was a 12/10 and would definitely recommend this agency to any travellers to the region.

Exciting Nepal - thank you for making my EBC dream come true

Exciting Nepal makes Nepal adventure dreams come true. Subash, the owner, was outstanding and responsive to every question. Their guide Basu is one of the best I've ever had and along with our porters Singman and Ngima we had a team that literally lifted our spirits and felt like a family - critical vibes for what is a physically and mentally taxing adventure near to the top of the world. If EBC is on your list (or really anywhere in Nepal is including ABC), Exciting Nepal needs to be who you book with and Basu needs to be your guide.

10 Star Experience! No need to search further - go with Exciting Nepal!

As someone who has traveled to over 200 countries and partnered with numerous international climbing and tour companies, I hold a very high bar in terms of the level of service, expertise, professionalism and value for money I expect. Subash, the owner of Exciting Nepal, and his team far exceeded my expectations. My friend and I booked the Everest Base Camp with helicopter return. From the moment I made my first inquiry with Subash, I knew I had made the right decision. I extensively researched and reached out to numerous companies both in the US and locally in Nepal. Unlike other companies, Subash was extremely responsive throughout the process, patiently answering my laundry list of questions and providing expert recommendations based on my personal preferences and goals. Every aspect of the program was extremely well organized and executed flawlessly from start to finish. Unlike other companies which are purely transactional and impersonal, its clear that Subash and his team deeply and genuinely care about each and everyone of their clients - it was as if we were welcomed into a family. What is not apparent from the website is the fact that Exciting Nepal is the primary point of contact and logistics provider for mountain rescues - when you book with them, you should know that you have immediate and direct access to rescue resources unlike other companies who would have to reach out to Exciting Nepal for assistance! As you can imagine, this is something you dont want to compromise on. Our trekking guide, Basu, was truly exceptional and went above and beyond to make our trek a dream come true. Basu was absolutely meticulous about ensuring every small detail was taken care of from start to finish and was incredibly caring and thoughtful - continually checking in on us and constantly motivating us with his positivity and upbeat attitude. He is an incredibly experienced guide and his passion for guiding and sharing the beauty of the mountains with others is an inspiration. Our days were filled with laughter and smiles and he created a uniquely warm and welcoming environment from the moment we said good morning and until we said good night every evening. Basu provided invaluable guidance on every aspect of our trek ranging from food recommendations to dressing appropriately for the changing weather conditions. Our porters Singman and Nyman, were also incredible and their strength and fortitude are nothing short of jaw-dropping. Along with Basu, they were constantly looking out for us and we felt so cared for. It was like spending time with a wonderful group of friends. I cant recommend Exciting Nepal highly enough. Im someone who has extremely high standards and Subash and his team far exceeded my expectations. Dont waste your time booking with companies located outside of Nepal and paying triple the price of a paper pushing middleman - go to the source of expertise on the ground. Exciting Nepal truly sets the benchmark others should strive for with deep expertise is based on years of accumulated experience. I was so impressed with their level of customer service and expertise. They even took incredible care of us while we were in Kathmandu both before and after our trek. I will continue to recommend them and make them my go-to guide service for any travel in the region.

Smooth, Scenic, and Superbly Organized I joined a 6-Day Marangu Route hike with Kilisa Tours, and the whole experience was seamless. The accommodations in the mountain huts were cozy, and the support staff made sure we were always comfortable. Our guide shared fascinating stories about the mountain s history and wildlife. Everything ran perfectly on schedule, and the company s attention to detail was impressive. I ve done many treks before, but Kilisa Tours stands out for their genuine care and world-class service. Couldn t have asked for more!
