Experience a trek to Mount Everest, the tallest mountain in the world at 8848 m above sea level. This trek follows in the footsteps of Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Edmund Hillary, and you will pass numerous Sherpa valleys before you reach Everest Base Camp. The trail winds its way through Sagarmatha National Park, home to several 8000 meter peaks.
The tiny airstrip of Lukla is the gateway of the trek to Everest base camp. Pass outstanding Sherpa valleys and the bustling towns of Sherpa people, Namche Bazaar and Khumjung. The trail is dominated by the rhododendron forest and some of the Himalayan fauna can be seen. The monasteries, chhortens and mani walls are common scenery along the trail of Everest base camp. The glacial moraine trail at the upper part makes the journey an adventurous one. Enjoy the views of the magnificent Himalayas.
Trekking enthusiasts find the alpine setting blissful and spiritually solacing. Acclimatization comes as a part of the Everest base camp trek to avoid altitude sickness.
The best seasons for the Everest base camp trek are March to May and September to November.
The Manaslu Circuit Trek is a challenging and rewarding trek around the world's eighth-highest mountain, Manaslu, at 8,163 meters. It offers stunning views of Himalayan peaks, diverse landscapes, a rich culture, and wildlife. The trek typically lasts 10–14 days and requires a special permit. The best time to do the trek is during the spring and autumn, with moderate temperatures, clear skies, and good visibility. The winter and monsoon seasons are less crowded but pose more challenges and risks. The trek follows the Buri Gandaki River Gorge, passing suspension bridges and lush forests, waterfalls, and villages. The average cost of the Manaslu Circuit Trek depends on factors like season, duration, itinerary, service level, and trekking agency chosen. Some additional factors that can affect the cost of the Manaslu Circuit Trek include accommodation choices, transportation expenses, and any additional activities or side trips included in the itinerary. It is recommended to research and compare different trekking agencies to find the best value for your budget and preferences.
I can’t begin to express to you the incredible experience I had on this trek. I am someone who travels for work, for fun, for life experiences. The trek I went on with Pasang and Nema is something I will never forget in my lifetime. Typically I coordinate my own travels, this is my first time going on a trip I hadn’t planned myself, and let me tell you it was an epic adventure! From the moment arriving into Kathmandu, everything was seamlessly coordinated and so exceeded any expectation I could have ever imagined. The warm welcome our group received upon arrival and continued to have our 13 day trip is unlike any trip I’ve ever been on. The laughs, the sights, the culture, the world perspective I gained on this trip will stay with me forever. Our accommodations throughout the trek were the most “at home” feeling I’ve had in years. The kindness we were shown, the views, the food (which was all DELICIOUS) I will never be able to put into words what all of that meant to me. I’d just like to say such a big THANK YOU, to Pasang and Nema! We would have never made it the the end without you. Both of you will always have such a special place in my heart for the amazing adventure you gave our group. I hope to see both of you in the Himalayas soon!.
The time for travelling and trekking here in Nepal has always been great experience, this year me and my wife had this Everest Base Camp Trek here in Nepal. I found this trek one of the best way to experience the great trail toward the highest peak in the world "Mount Everest" with scenic views of panorama of different himalays and Nature along each and every trail of this trek. Finding good trek is difficult but finding a great company to organize the trek is more difficult than that but we were very lucky to find the local operator as it made our trekking experience more reliable, smooth and fresh with great service and care along every trail. Our Guide Nuru was very experienced and never disappointed on our demands and expectations from him.
We did Everest Base Camp in 11 days. 7.5 days up, 2.5 days down, and then fly out of Lukla on the 11th day. Overall, it was definitely a little quicker of a pace, but we were able to manage fairly well. Getting up to Kala Patthar was physical challenge but the views were absolutely incredible. The trip back down was a little difficult because we were trying to fill in 40km in 2 days. Would definitely recommend the trek in 11 days if you're constrained for time at all. Never really felt overly taxed by the pace.
Absolutely beautiful trek with an extremely helpful and kind guide. Everything was set when I arrived, I did not need to plan anything, so i was able to completely enjoy my time in the Himalayas!
The Everest Base Camp trek is an incredible way to spend 9-14 days experiencing the delights of the Himalaya mountain region, with the ultimate reward of reaching the base camp of the world's most notorious mountain climb. I couldn't recommend this local operator any more highly. He took such great care of me as a solo traveller, answering all my questions very promptly before the trip, and organising every last detail from the moment I touched down in Kathmandu, to when I left. Nepal can be a slightly chaotic place to travel around, and for me I had flights to and from Lukla cancelled (due to a "broken plane"), however with Pasang around, he made all the necessary arrangements such that I still made it to do the trek in the time I had! He ensured I had all the necessary trekking gear, lending me a few bits I didn't have. At the end of the trek he gave me a quick tour of Kathmandu and even invited me into his home. As a side point, Pasang uses guides based in Lukla or the surrounding region, so unlike other companies the price of flying a guide from Kathmandu to Lukla isn't included in the price. He is absolutely priceless, so if you are thinking of doing any trekking in Nepal, use him!
Very good organised, we spend 2 nice weeks in Nepal, i only can recommend this lifetime experience
I am very much satisfied and happy to be part of one of the great trek in the world under the foot hill of world tallest mountain "Mount Everest". I had great experience and time here in Everest and i would have regret if i have missed this trip and i want to show my gratitude and thanks to the local operator and team because without them it would not have been this successful and they were kind and cheerful all the time. So thank you very much and see you guys next year for next trek in Nepal.
Fantastic experience. My tour was well organized, knowledgeable guide, full service with airport pick up and drop off. The food and accommodation during the trek were as good as possible. My guide Pasang was an enthusiastic and happy person with a great sense of humor and paid attention to details during the trip. He also always made sure I was doing well and knew exactly how to schedule our days in order to maximize my experience.
I had always wanted to do the Everest Trek, and when I finally had the opportunity to do so, I was overjoyed with enthusiasm! I think I am also very lucky to have been in the company of this local operator because they gave me no reason whatsoever to companion about anything at all. Every service that I received was top-notch and I was always provided the best available services throughout, from the food, the guesthouses to the porter and guiding services. My guide was Pasang and he was very proficient at his work. He made sure that I was comfortable and that I had everything that I needed. The trip itself was wonderful and I am so glad that I was with NHT! Their prompt responses, their kind gestures and the best organization of the trip had me convinced that I was with the professionals from the very beginning. My recommendation goes to the local operator and team for being one of the most reliant tour agencies in Nepal!
