It was a memorable trip with a great guide, comfortable accommodations, and tours that mix history with fun options.
Croatia is a beautiful country, it was quite crowded in several of the places we visited. Our tour manager was excellent, knowledgeable and very accommodating to the needs of the group. Our accommodations on land were very nice, our accommodations on the boat Invictus were average.
Memorable experience learning of this beautiful country! Enjoyed the experience of traveling on the sea, food delicious The palaces, forts, old cities unbelievable Craftmanship Loved this tour!
Excellent trip! Our tour guide, Daja was wonderful! Our group became family!
Vedrana leading Diocletian's tour was phenomenal.
The Invictus ship time was wonderful. The accommodations were excellent. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the shower and lived the fact that my suitcase fit perfectly under our beds. We stopped periodically to swim in the Adriatic. So beautiful! The breakfasts were delicious, as we're the lunches and dinners. The crew was friendly and helpful. It was a great experience.
I rated this trip a 9 because our return home was chaotic. Collette needs to understand the airports of Dubrovnik and Frankfurt. There are buses to take from gate to planes, plane departures delayed and gates far apart. The layovers are not long enough because the connection flight gates are so far apart. Plus you have to add in time to stand in line to show passports. We personally had to run from terminal A to terminal Z in Frankfurt. Thank God we had our running shoes on. Our days in Croatia and its islands was beautiful. And I have to say we had the best tour manager, Sonja Sunic. She was a joy to all of us.
Loved the small less visited historic towns. Beautiful clean blue waters.
Loved swimming in the beautiful Adriatic Sea!! Enjoyed learning about the history and culture. Exploring towns on own in addition to planned tours. Enjoyed trying new foods and wines.
Our tour guide, Mirna, was absolutely incredible. She made the entire experience exponentially better. The Invictus was a wonderful experience in every way. The food was great and the crew was amazing. It was a dream trip all the way around. I can (and have!) recommend this trip most highly.
We were looking for something to do for this trip that was fun, new in our experience of traveling and to an area of the world that we had not been before. This trip met all our expectations. We like so many things about it that it would be hard to pick just one. Swimming off the back of the boast was lots of fun. Seeing an are of the world that had gone through so much in its history is very educational, and this is something we always try to do in our travels, learn about areas of the world that we know little about.
Visiting Krka national park and seeing the beautiful waterfalls and learning of its history
Loved the whole trip. Favorite memory was swimming in the Adriatic Sea. But really, the entire trip will always be one of my favorite memories. The only complaint if you wanna call it that that I had with the tour, was that the earpiece used with the whispers was very hard to keep on my ear. It would be nice to have the option to have an earbud type earpiece available.
