Well paced. Great adventures and really amazing scenery
It was absolutely amazing however I would have preferred to pay more and have longer stops. I’m not complaining just saying. How Director was exceptional and so was the driver (I think ) can’t fault either of them and give them a 10+
Fabulous trip which takes in the best of Scotland. Lots of time spent in the Highlands which is such a plus.
Could include visit to Fairy Glen, just to have a break from all the fighting that has gone on in Scotland. That would be appreciated.
Nothing everything was 👌
Itinerary was great the guide was great, but there were too many people on the tour and they were too old and slow
I enjoyed all aspects of the journey. The team leader was excellent
Lovely tour around the country roads of Scotland with Taib. Good information given at different destinations, however there were some places eg...castles, landmarks in between that we passed and would have liked to have had a mention of them, even if not stopping at them. Hotels comfortable, included dining became a little monotonous, same choices etc (but understand catering for a group ...) Overall enjoyable.
The tour took us to all of our ‘bucket list’ places we wanted to visit. A great tour
Leave as is Had a fantastic tour director and Driver
It was hood
Good variety of locations. Well paced. Orkney was a standout. The coach was very comfortable with added leg room. Accommodation was of a good standard for rural locations. Some optional extras were high priced compared to Aussie currency. Missed a get together for the last meal so we could say goodbye to new friends. was a superstar as a Tour Director. was a fabulous driver. Both were eternally optimistic and incredibly high performing in their crafts.
The commentary was excellent, the places visited were terrific, the group atmosphere was warm and inviting and the comradery fostered by both and was superb.
Quite a relaxed tour, we saw some amazing countryside with great tour guides
Better hotels. They are rather old.
The tour was great, our guide was amazing. The itinerary was very packed, very busy, especially as we're in our 70s, but if it wasn't, we wouldn't have had as many wonderful experiences. We were a bit surprised at the cost of the optional experiences but overall they were worthwhile. Again made the trip.
Good tour....would have liked more time in orkney islands. .perhaps boat times not that frequent........ would do trip again. Congenial tourleader.
Covered lots of interesting and beautiful places. The tour director was excellent in terms of knowledge, insight, care and concern for travellers and positive attitude towards travellers. was absolutely amazing. , the driver was also great. He is a safe and skilful driver who was always well turned out in suit and tie. The coach was always very clean and comfortable. cleaned it each day.
Poor accommodation and food
A quick overview of Scotland with lots to see and a great guide
Would liked extra time on Orkney and Isle of Skye
It was an amazing and varied itinerary. If I had to choose I think the Orkney's was favourite. My grannies had hoped I might have come home with Nessie.
I thoroughly enjoyed my Country Roads of Scotland tour. However, I felt that there were some places we stayed longer than necessary, and others, which to me were more significant, we were whisked away quickly. eg. At Eilean Donan Castle we were not taken over the bridge to the castle to look around, but instead were given only about 20 minutes to take photos of the castle from across the Loch. I was very disappointed as that is one place I had been looking forward to.
A great way to see a lot of Scotland in a relatively short time. Was great to be off the beaten track and see areas that we may have missed had we been trying to trip around on our own. Also enjoyed the very informative commentary along the way. Our guide was excellent!
Good coverage of the country and what it has to offer. Train bus and boat transport excellent.
Fantastic and well organised thanks to our guide and driver and
