This is a jam-packed itinerary with scenery that you only read about. The tour is well paced - we walked about 4 miles a day- and saw some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Trafalgar does a great job of providing opportunities to learn about the local customs, traditions and livelihoods of the places they offer tours of.
I did already rate my trafalgar trip while I was still in Norway. Excellent!
5⭐️ Natural Beauty: We went for Best of Norway tour and it was truly one of the most beautiful countries we have ever visited. Its nature and landscape, mountains and valleys, and fjords are just stunning! 5⭐️ Tour guide: is very knowledgeable and experienced, making the trip more memorable. 5⭐️ Coach driver: is such a skillful driver who drove safely especially along the winding roads. 5⭐️ Meals included were excellent! All fishes option were excellent. 5⭐️ Tour mates: we enjoyed the company of our tour mates who were all very punctual and friendly. We travelled together well like family. 4⭐️ hotel location: most are located perfectly near the centre of tourist attraction. The only hotel with laundry room is: Havilla Hotel Geiranger. We had 2 nights stay there so it was perfect. 3⭐️ hotel comfort: no water kettle provided and bed was rather small. So u may need to bring ur own portable kettle. However all the hotels are clean! Highly recommend this tour! ♥️
Covered the country's highlights is a short period of time. The tour director did an outstanding job coordinating all the logistics: bus, train, and ship. A most enjoyable experience. Highly recommend this trip.
The trip was great and had a phenomenal. Dino was a great guide and was very knowledgeable .
Hotel rooms no glasses to take medication Small portion at dinner Poor excuse for beef $750.00 taken from suitcase when left the room at the hotel we stayed two nights at
We learned a lot about each destination. It was quite an educational trip. The days were pretty packed with events, many included walking long distances. It is not a good trip for a person who cannot easily navigate stairs or walk uneven surfaces.
This was a sensation tour, *personal info removed by Feefo* was a great tour guide who led us through the amazing scenery of Norway. The tour also had some special local experiences with local farmers and tour guides. I highly recommend this tour
The itinerary was quite bare. After adding up the optional tours it’s not cheap.
All in all an excellent trip. A bit too much time traveling on the bus. The evening meals were just OK, while breakfasts were spectacular!
This trip was wonderful! You get to see lots of areas in Norway in a short period of time. The driver and tour guides are very knowledgeable and give the tour a special touch! So much fun! You don't have to worry about your bags. Everything is taken care of for you. The meals provided were excellent! So much food for the value and we loved the breakfasts. We would love to take another trip with Trafalgar.
I would have preferred having several places with 2-night stays, rather than just 1. We stayed in a few more "quiet and quaint" places, but more of the hotels were crowded with other tours and did not have any character. A little more time for hikes and relaxing would be welcomed. Boat and train rides were fabulous. Bus driver and *personal info removed by Feefo* were also excellent.
Very good choices.
I felt for my 1st bus trip it was way to much time on the bus. Taking alot of pictures from a seat in the bus. The windows all have a sticker of a person in a seatbelt on them. Which unfortunately is in many pictures. The scenery was beautiful. The included spots were abit cheesy. There could be more food options. And needed more time to find something to eat for lunch. Our bus driver was excellent! Our tour guide *personal info removed by Feefo* also Excellent and very knowledgeable and helpful. I think Trafalgar could find better hotels for the money we paid for this trip. I could do 3 cruises. All said and done we did have a nice time.
It was a beautiful trip with an ideal itinerary . I think we did see the best of Norway. Our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly and a an excellent leader. He made the trip fun with his banter and people skills.
I loved all of the places. The optional City tour in Bergen was just ok. We went to a wooden home village as an example of what was there and replaced by brick/stone buildings. It was a quick tour and not impressive. Either eliminate that part or include tours of the inside of the buildings. I did like seeing the old buildings along the bay painted different colors, that stand in a row where the Germans lived and the tour behind and the Church behind. Then going up to the high view point. Loved all of the Farm visits. Would have liked more time with Kon-Tiki and the Arctic explorer in Oslo and less time with the sculpture park. I was not impressed with the park.
Good mix of various stops, photo stops, farms, boats, trains, short hikes, etc. The optional experiences were all great
