A once in a lifetime holiday! The accommodations were great, public transport was provided and easy to use, and there were so many incredible optionals to choose from that really highlighted the country and culture.

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING: KVITAVATN

This was an excellent holiday, accommodation was good, food was excellent, teaching, terrain and company all siperb.  The staff are very friendly the instructors Chris and Ilse are very experienced in XC skiing and taught us well and went the extra mile to making sure we had fuind and learnt XC skiing at the same time.  With additional stretching after a hard day, in the mountians or on the recognised routes and XC lessons in the evening. The scenery and history is tremendous and this brief glimpse of Norway that will have me coming back for more. Will definitely be back.

WALKING THE FJORDS

The landscape was just out of this world - my jaw was almost permanantly dropped! I've seen a million pictures of the fjords so I thought I knew what to expect but actually, once you're there it's like stepping through a gateway to another world, simply awe-inspiring. No National Geographic image can quite prepare you for how small you feel. One lady on the trip was an artist and she took a sketch pad with her, which I thought was a wonderful idea. The guest house was another surprise - it's so quaint! And the dinners - well, it's lucky we were walking all day! Three course meals every evening, truly superb. Even the breakfast was seriously impressive - they bake their own bread so you have fresh rolls, and pick their own fruit from the orchard. The chef is a truly talented individual!

Great experience , magical places , top tour guide the group was good , but it was too expensive for me , I can ton understand why it was so expensive we had so much free time .. and I think all meals should be included

One of the best trips I had. Every adventure was awesome from hiking up a mountain to feeding reindeer, taking a cruise through the fjords (it stormed a bit causing some sea sickness). But I loved exploring the towns and dog sledding the most. I will have to go back one day!

The trip was amazing. I loved every second of it. on the whale watching tour was so kind and funny and on the buss to the north cape was a joy. The views were incredible. We got to see the northern lights while on the cruise ship, it was breath taking. Some cons: walking through the ice and snow with luggage. This is nearly impossible without luggage and then we are asked to do it with? No thank you. The hike up to the cable car was pretty intense with all of the winter gear we had on. I think this should be mentioned beforehand. I liked the dogsledding but wish we had spent more time learning about the process, where the dogs come from, how the pick teams, the history behind dog sledding etc. I would’ve also preferred to do the Sami experice earlier in the trip. Norwegians are very proud of their history and the Sami people make up a huge part of that. I don’t feel I was able to truly appericte how much the Sami culture impacted Norway and many of the activities we did because I didn’t understand the importance.
