Sunny Winter 2026

An awesome trip with beautiful scenery and plenty to do. If you're into snow, ice and snowmobiling you'll love it. Hurtigruten snowmobiling is well recommended, Charlotte and Sarah are awesome guides, extremely knowledgeable and professional. A total credit.

Kvitavatn

This is the third time I've done this trip & I plan to go again next year. The location is beautiful & suitable for all abilities. Just don't expect the shops & bars you get in downhill resorts, because they are not there. Expect a beautiful & wonderfully peaceful wilderness. I travel alone and choose my holidays with that in mind. The whole set-up is perfect for the solo traveller. Exodus runs a 'share with a stranger' accommodation system, so you don't have to pay a single person supplement. You ski as a group, so no worries about being out there alone. The dining area is set up in such away that the whole group can sit together, so there is no need to dine alone either. The food was lovely and the chef we had in February 2019 & 2022 was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. In addition to the 'standard' meal, he provided lovely alternatives for those who declared dietary requirements. These included vegetarian, dairy-free and spice-free. I am sure he could, and would, cater for anything. The price of the holiday includes ski & boot hire, tuition and guiding, so the only costs over & above what you pay when you book are for alcohol, optional tips for the guides and spending at the airport.

Cross Country Skiing at Kvitavatn, Norway

This is an amazing place to learn to ski and to ski. The Fjellstue is friendly and has a great atmosphere and is perfectly set up for you to ski from your door, out into the wilderness. There is an excellent network of tracks, but the leaders offer mainly off track and with great skill and knowledge will take you away into the remote rolling hills, among the trees and above the tree line, offering fantastic guiding and tuition. I would have given up cross country skiing probably if I hadn't come here as the support and leadership is second to none. Perfect for both beginners and for those with experience and skills. I have been back for many years, as have many others who come here.

Excellent skiing and accommodation

Excellent holiday with many ski routes available to take making each day different. The location is absolutely wonderful. Accommodation at Kamben is very comfortable with varied meals, tasty and substantial. The soups are different each night and all delicious. Ellie, Martin and the team look after all guests with a smile and attentive service. A guest was playing the piano each night and it was so soothing after a day out skiing. I can't wait to return.

A skiing holiday with all the positives

As a veteran of 8 cross-country skiing holidays with this tour company, I found Kamben to be the best combination of all the elements needed for a successful trip. Its the location Im most likely to visit again or recommend to others. The routes, which are mostly skiable direct from the hotel, range from easier tracks with picnic huts, to undulating forest routes, to high hills with great views, all with the best signposting Ive seen.

Picture perfect

Excellent cross country holiday with so many different routes to choose every day, on the tracks and off. We had amazing weather and looking back at pictures, I still can't believe I was there. Plenty of good food and good company.
