It was great and we saw a lot but there were too many short stops. No time to go into castles, only to take photos from a distance.

1. Professional and passion demonstrated by the TD Cristiano and Coach Driver Ian throughout the tour made the group comfortable and enjoyable. (+) 2. Points of interest were covered during the tour and Cristiano shared informative insights of the places visited (+} 3. Early notice of pick-up hotel should be made known to guests at least 30 days in advance to allow guests to plan their arrival plans early (~)

Matt and almost all of the trip was fantastic - but how did Trafalgar think that a 2 night stay in The Craiglynne Hotel was acceptable - aside from the photos attached - the evening meals were barely passable - I googled to stay there afterwards - in New Zealand that would be false advertising and we would Not have to pay! Side note - our toilet would Not flush and we were embarrassed to mention this, because after the debacle to get towels and hand soap earlier - we used the downstairs hotel toilets……. I definetly would have issues recommending Trafalgar on the back of the Craiglynne Hotel! Side note again - why did we not stay in Inverness??

Excellent tour director n driver. Wales was a bit disappointing as we drove in late and drove out early next day. We also were told if we accepted the offer and paid a deposit within several weeks for a possible another tour Trafalgar were give a discount. We had booked another tour with Trafalgar “ Scandinavia and its Fiord “ commencing 21/09/2025 , and did not get any discount. why. We experienced a similar no discount several years ago when we did Egypt, Turkey, Ireland, Greece and Italy one after the other. PLEASE comment

The isle of skye was not worth eight hour round trip in bus too much bus time not enough site seeing time

Timeframes could have been better with too much time spent having coffee & shopping stops. Insufficient time at real points of interest. Accommodation was poor quality and needs to be reviewed and upgraded.

Quite expensive cos too many optional tour 😔

It is a full-on itinerary, with a lot of time on the bus and not a lot of time to explore each town/city. The staff were very good, but the tour wasn't what I expected. If you are looking to pack in as much as you can, this tour would be for you, but I would have liked to have spent less time on the bus and looking at castles and more time exploring each town we stayed at.

Brilliant! A couple of the hotels were old but clean and the staff were great! Our Director of Operations, was brilliant! Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was extremely informative and helpful. , our driver, was excellent and very friendly and funny. I had a great time!!

Could have done better with the hotel and food choices. Optional cultural programs were disappointing with food almost inedible. Never again with Trafalgar!

Too rushed not enough time at destinations after lengthy bus trips. Poor hotels on the most part. Not worth the upgrade from Cost saver tours

We would have preferred an English Tour Guide. The itinerary was good but the trip to Skye was rather long and tedious.

The Best of Britain was a truly wonderful experience and exceptional value for money. The Optional Choices allowed me to tailor my holiday to suit my budget, availability and weather conditions. As a solo passenger, travelling with others added both security and companionship, plus new perspectives and insights. Highlights were Stonehenge, Bath, Cardiff Castle, Liverpool and The Beatles, Glasgow, Edinburgh and the brilliant Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Be My Guest experiences, and invited on stage in Stratford-Upon-Avon! Our Tour Director, was exceptional. care and dedication matched his knowledge and enthusiasm for the history, culture and particular aspects of each place we visited. Unmatched professionalism in every regard. Absolutely top notch.

Best of Britain It was at a fairly steady pace. We would have liked to have stayed longer in some places. Especially wales and the Lake district. Thoroughly enjoyable but way too many castles. Our tour director and driver were by far the best of the bunch.
