Just home from an amazing group hiking experience in Gran Canaria. There were 6 of us in the group and 2 wonderful guides—Rosie and Ben. We learnt so much about the history, geography, flora and culture of this beautiful island, from our guides. The hiking days were seamlessly planned and organised, the pace was good for all levels of ability and all the overnight accommodation was excellent. In the evenings, the locations for dinner, drinks and socialising had been organised and we would spend time getting to know each other and relaxing! It really was the best active holiday I have been on and Rosie and Ben also organised the perfect weather! I highly recommend this travel operator and I’m sure all their tours and itineraries are brilliant.

I have just returned from a weeks walking in Gran Canaria and it exceeded all expectations. Great hosting by Ben and Rosie, lovely accommodation, spectacular walks that were expertly set for the skill level of the group. Group size was small so we received a very personal service. If you want to escape to some winter sun, undertake beautiful walks with lovely company at a very reasonable price, do not hesitate to book this tour. The Dordogne trip was outstanding - beautiful scenery, quaint and comfortable hotels, excellent food and days longs enough to feel the benefit of walking but not so long to make you too exhausted to enjoy arriving. Added bonus was our ability to enjoy a “coupe” everywhere we landed.

We were very satisfied with the arrangements made for our trip which we only booked very close to the proposed departure date. Accommodation was very good and the arrangements for transfer of luggage and ourselves between departure points for the walks worked without a hitch. App for walk was easy to use and accurate. Itinerary was great and this was the main reason we chose this trip and Sri Lanka has fantastic sites and culture to experience - unfortunately we counted on having an appropriate guide and tour director who could assist with making the most of the experience - unfortunately our guide was not fluent in English, could not answer questions or explain the sites, culture and history in any meaningful way and we were forced to communicate critical aspects of the itinerary with him on whatsap, initiated by us not the tour director - the worst tour director I have had in nearly 45 years of travel and over 50 tours

Each day the hiking was different. The logistics were well covered- hauling our luggage from hotel to hotel and showing up with rides to our hikes. The hotels were all very comfortable. I would recommend using this company for hiking trips.

My wife and I had an incredible time on our Backroads of Japan tour. This was our first ever international trip, and even with booking a tour, we weren't sure what to expect. Fortunately, our tour guide was simply phenomenal. He was perfectly fluent in Japanese and English, knowledgeable in every facet of the country (down to the geology!), attentive to the needs of our very diverse group, and knew every nook and rest stop along every trail we hiked. Overall, I made friends and many more memories through this unforgettable itinerary, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to experience Japan for the first time.
