I think, considering the age of the travellers that Trafalgar packed too much into some days. Luggage out at 6:30 am and on the bus at 7:30 am was too early.

My Contiki was honestly one of the best travel decisions I’ve made. Everything was well organized transport, accommodation, and the add on activities . so I could actually relax and enjoy each place instead of stressing about logistics. Our Trip Manager and driver were incredible and made every day fun, even the long coach rides. We packed in so many experiences I never would’ve found on my own, from local spots to bucket-list sights, plus plenty of free time to explore how we wanted. If you’re on the fence about booking, just do it. It’s the perfect mix of structure and freedom, and the people you meet make it unforgettable. I had a great experience and I’ll definitely recommend Contiki to anyone who wants to travel without the hassle and with the best energy.

Our 12-day self-guided tour from St Ives to Mevagissey was everything we hoped it would be! The scenery was so dramatic, and the path was rugged and challenging, the views from the cliffs of the water and the sky were delightful and gave us peace and a sense of wonder. Our accommodations were wonderful, and we ate some very good food at them. We had a long year of personal loss, and it was the best place to help us heal. We are never disappointed when we travel with them, they are always just what we need.

The trip was perfect, it gave an excellent and thorough taste of a large portion of Europe, and balanced the countries visited extremely well. The destinations and activities were all superb, and gave deep insight into each specific culture, while showcasing intriguing history. The trip was never ending fun, with great people to enjoy the travels with. The tour guide and bus driver couldn’t have been more amazing, they were incredibly cooperative, interactive and helpful throughout the whole trip. They both showed that they were highly experienced, qualified, and professional, while also maintaining an immense form of friendliness and approachability. Overall, I couldn’t have asked more of the trip, there is nothing to critique.

Our tour was absolutely fantastic and our tour manager, Gail, was great with our entire group of 25 from WPSU Public Television in Pennsylvania. Most of the accommodations were fabulous and the local tour guides were also excellent. Larry, Lyndon, and Mark were all area experts that really know their history. I especially loved touring the moors with Mark and learning about the history of standing stones and lay lines. My only suggestion would be staying 3 days at each location instead of just two, especially at Bovey Castle, which was really lovely but we didn't have time to explore the grounds or do any of the excursions they offer. All in all it was a wonderful trip!

Great group of people from multiple countries, a wonderful guide who always went the extra mile to make sure we got everything we needed and wanted, beautiful scenery and a challenging hike. What more could you want?
