We booked two private day tours from Seville: one with Jose to Gibraltar, the other with Carolina to Granada and the Alhambra Palace. Both tours were excellent and exceeded expectations. The local knowledge of each guide is most impressive, as is their willingness to customise each tour to best meet the guests wishes. Strongly recommended!
This tour is perfect for history, art and architecture lovers. You will discover the old town and learn about the Ancient and Medieval Barcelona.
You will explore the Gothic district, and all it has to offer; its cathedrals, its squares and little maze-like streets where you will lose yourself in time. This enchanting and magical area was built centuries ago. Discover all the corners of this neighbourhood as well as the old Barcelona’s secrets and legends .
Later on, you will ride a bit further and get to know the symbolic Modernist architecture of Gaudi, by exploring the Sagrada Familia, Palau de la Musica, la Pedrera, and la Casa Batllo. You will go through the Born, a medieval district with its famous sites: The Santa Maria del Mar Basilica, the Picasso Museum and the Market of El Born.
Born Bike has its own friendly and fun-loving atmosphere, all you need to do is hit the pedals and enjoy!
We had a most wonderful day, our best tour yet in Spain. Our guide Javier, and our driver Enrique welcomed and treated us as friends from the moment of our pickup. Our day was very informative not only on the Villages we visited but on Spanish culture and life in the cities and countryside.
The white Villages were just so different from anything we have ever seen and so pleased we chose to do this tour. Thank you Javier and Enrique for making our day unforgettable. This area is certainly a treasure not to be missed.
Inland you discover typically Spanish villages and the Mediterranean coast is a delight to explore with wild beaches and ecologically important and diverse Nature Parks. This 7 night holiday takes in all that the region has to offer, starting with 2 nights in the wonderful city of Valencia, explore the Albufera wetlands to the south of the city where rice was first grown in Europe and the famous 'paella' dish so typical of Spain was created. Make sure you take plenty of time to explore the city of Valencia itself; the modern City of Arts and Sciences is a must and its contemporary buildings were built on the former riverbed of the River Turia. The historic old town area of the city holds the cathedral with a beautiful mixture of Romanesque, Baroque and Gothic styles, for a perfect view of the city, climb the 207 steps to the top of the Miguelete tower and enjoy the 360 degree view of the city. The gothic building of 'La Longa', the Silk Exchange is well worth a visit and has been a UNESCO world heritage site since 1996.After a short transfer inland you explore the off the beaten track inland valleys with pretty Spanish villages, some with their buildings dating back to the 13th and 14th century. Take a dip in the thermal spas of Montanejos where the crystal clear mineral waters are renowned for their rejuvenating qualities before following the river back towards the coast. The gentle coastal cycling takes you past secluded beaches and through the Sierra de Irta Marine Park where you can enjoy the natural environment at its best, before reaching your final destination in Peniscola, a charming town with a Templar castle and medieval walls surrounded by the sea with plenty of cobbled streets to explore.

Join our experienced, professional and qualified crew on this one and a half hour trip to see Gibraltar’s dolphins wild and free. Enjoy the stunning views of the Rock of Gibraltar, Spain and North Africa. Gibraltar is famous all over the world for its ever present population of wild dolphins, not including the transient ones visiting the bay and the Strait of Gibraltar for food, shelter and to breed.
Find yourself among a pod of dolphins as large as 200 or more. Watch in amazement as they gracefully swim and play around the boat in a natural display of acrobatics. Your Dolphin Adventure captain and crew know, through years of experience, the favourite haunts and playgrounds of these magnificent marine creatures and will take you to these spots.
Sit back and relax while listening to the live commentary onboard one of our two new boats, Dolphin Adventurer and Dolphin Adventurer II. Both of them have been custom built to our own design specifications and are filled with state of the art electronics and safety equipment along with seating arrangements for all passengers.
Enjoy magnificent views from the 360° frontline viewing area. The massive twin hulls of the boats will provide you the smoothest of rides and an incredible stability. There is even a raised viewing platform for superb views of the dolphins.
Less than 100 miles off the north west coast of Africa, in the centre of the Canary Islands archipelago, sits the volcanic island of Gran Canaria - often referred to as 'a miniature continent' with its extraordinarily varied landscapes ranging from the north's lush green forests and valleys, to the towering mountainous interior, to the desert-like dunes and beautiful white beaches of its southern shores. For millennia, the elements have sculpted the most outstanding natural beauty: steep volcanic mountains punctuated by deep palm ravines; imposing rocks towering above high plateaux; vast fertile valleys of prickly pear, aloes, almonds and figs - it's little wonder that nearly half of the island is protected by UNESCO Nature Reserves and offers some of the finest hiking in Europe.
This twin-centre holiday offers varied and interest packed walking routes, with easier and more difficult choices of walk daily. We take you from the cauldron of Bandama whose eruption, over 2,000 years ago, influenced the entire geography of the island, to the emblematic Roque Nublo, an imposing natural crag made of volcanic rock from which there are 360 degree views of the whole island. Then there is Gran Canaria's vibrant and colourful capital, Las Palmas, where you can step back in time in the city's charming historic old quarter.
You spend your first three nights at the La Hacienda del Buen Suceso, located in a quiet and tranquil setting above the village of Arucas, the Hacienda was once a country estate and has perfectly retained all its colonial charm. Nestled in the surrounding banana plantations, the Hacienda is just 15 minutes from Las Palmas and makes a perfect base for the first half of your trip. For your next four nights, you'll head to the very heart of the island and the Hotel Fonda De La Tea . There is the option to upgrade in Tejeda to the Parador de Tejeda, subject to availability and at a supplement.

We had a great time on our Barcelona City Tour. There were only 4 guests, which was a perfect size for a tour. Joao was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. We were picked up at our hotel in the Gothic quarter and walked a short distance to where the van was parked. We loved seeing all the different sites. We ended at La Sagrada Familia. We had requested tickets inside with tower access. These tickets were secured ahead of time so we were able to skip the line. This was the highlight of the tour.

El Hierro is the least known, and most westerly, of the Canary Islands. In fact, it was the most westerly point of the 'old world'. El Hierro has escaped mass tourism and with a population of just over 6,500 it has a very different feel to the other Canarian islands. The Herrenos are fiercely proud of their island and are very welcoming towards visitors who come to appreciate the environment, such as walkers.
Like its neighbours, El Hierro was formed by volcanic activity along an offshoot of the mid-Atlantic ridge. There has not been an eruption on the island since the 18th century, but the cones of ash and old lava flows are a prominent feature of the island. The small central plateau, at 1000m or more, offers a mixture of volcanic scenery, pastures (cattle, sheep and goats provide fine cheeses), and the beautiful Canarian pine woodlands. To the north the lowland of El Golfo resembles a huge bite taken out of the island, and the impressive bordering escarpment, reaching 1500m in altitude, features in our walks. On the lower land of El Golfo vines, bananas and pineapples are grown. The islanders have preserved a number of local traditions and some of their sites are included in our routes. Overall, there is a surprisingly rich variety for such a small area!
The walking is designed to pass through the variety of landscapes on the island and to seek out the most spectacular views and a number of locations of cultural and historical significance to the islanders. No two days are the same. Your El Hierro experience begins in the small town of Valverde up on the plateau- the official capital of El Hierro. For early arrivals there are short walks locally to help you to get the feel of the island. From Valverde the route winds across the plateau, down to El Golfo and up again, then across to the far west of the island before heading back again across the plateau to descend and finish by the east coast.
You accommodation is a mix of simple and charming apartments and hostels, to 3 star hotels. All have restaurants either on site or very close by and so we have included half board for you on this holiday.

One of the first destinations in the world to be awarded the special certificate as a Biosphere Reserve, the landscape is unique and awe inspiring, with magnificent volcanic craters, stark lava fields displaying a myriad of different colours, and beaches, ranging from white sands to volcanic black dust.
The island is very easy to drive across, the journey from the northern tip of Orzola to the beaches of Papagayo in the south takes just over 1 hour drive, giving you plenty of opportunity to explore.
Some of the best food and wine in the Canaries can be found here, so make sure you try the local specialities, Canarian potatoes, mojo sauce, estofado stew and the delicious boquerones, (anchovy fillets), perhaps accompanied by a locally produced wine, the widely regarded Malvasi - again the result of the rich volcanic soil.

We had our wonderful tour guide Miguel pick us (5 friends and myself) up at our AirBnB with no problem. There was a small mix up with the pick up time but the tour company was very quick to respond to me the night before (pretty late at night) with the correct times.
The trip is LONG tiring and TOTALLY WORTH IT! Granada and La Alhambra are the finest examples of Moorish art work anywhere in Spain!
We stopped at a lovely road side restaurant for a quick breakfast complete with cute, friendly cats to pet! Then we drove through the countryside and saw a million olive trees. Miguel answered all of our questions and was very informative along the way.
Once we arrived in Granada we got a private tour of the city and hiked up to the best view points to see La Alhambra. Afterwards we stopped in a local favorite place for traditional tapas. Miguel ordered for us so we could enjoy the finest food! It was a treat and delicious!
We were then dropped off at La Alhambra for our skip the line guided tour. So breathtaking and wonderful . words cannot describe the experience.
Miguel met us afterwards to drive us back to Seville we slept most of the way.
I recommend this company completely for a great trip and a great experience!
