Here we'll learn all about the history of the most emblematic sights in the city, such as the famous Aqueduct.Having seen the majestic architecture of the exterior of the cathedral, and other significant monuments throughout the city we'll take a guided tour of the Segovia fortress. Here, in the old residence of the Castillian kings, we'll reveal interesting facts about the different monarchs. And with the guided tour over, you'll have free time in Segovia to wander around at your own pace, buy a souvenir or have lunch on your own.Then in the evening, the tour meets again about 6:15 pm head back to Madrid.
Fantastic introduction to Spain and Portugal! Our concierge and driver were a great team, very knowledgeable of all areas traveled and kept us well informed of all activities. Each hotel was amazing and would love to stay a few more days at each! The organized local tours and guides were always timely, personable and knowledgeable of their particular town. While our time is limited in each stop, we now have a "bucket list" of favorite must return and stay a bit longer towns.

This itinerary was perfect for me and my husband. It would be great if three nights would have been allotted to Lisbon by adding a day and making the tour 10 days instead of 9. Our tour director Sabrina was great!
