Walking, wildlife, food and culture: this tour ticked a lot of boxes for me. It is true that the poor visibility at this time of year (March) meant that the Annupurna mountains weren't visible during much of the trek, but the landscape with its flora, fauna and small farms still made the walking interesting and enjoyable. A special highlight was seeing the one-horned rhinoceros at the Chitwan National Park, and the cultural events staged at the Green Chwadi Retreat at Chitwan were an unexpected bonus. There was a wealth of birds to see throughout the tour, and our tour leader, Su, was very knowledgeable in identifying them. As someone who is unable to eat gluten, I had been worried about how I would cope with the food; and I am extremely grateful to Su for helping me to navigate this, as well as ensuring that there were always things available for me to eat.

Fantastic trip. Lots of variety - sightseeing, walking and a safari at the end. Hotels were all good - a mixture of local and more modern and 2 nights in most worked really well. Food was good, locals are friendly and our guide Udaya made sure we had everything we needed and provided loads of info on everything we saw. Great safari at the end with brilliant sightings of deer and rhinos. Sadly no tigers but you cant have everything. Only down side is the roads which are currently truly awful whilst they convert the main highway to a dual carrigeway. Dirt surface in a lot of places.

My trip to Nepal was absolutely incredible! In the limited time frame, the tour managed to cover all of the country's major highlights. If you’re after creature comforts this isn’t for you; if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and explore the beautiful Annapurna range, meet locals, see some awesome-inspiring scenery, stay in rustic, basic accommodation but have some of the heartiest, tastiest meals and best hospitality ever, whilst taking on a challenging yet deeply rewarding trek, this is for you. Su, our tour leader, was exceptional, nothing was too much bother and he became the 11th member of our group. The crew and guides were fantastic, setting an achievable pace that meant we could chat as we walked or just enjoy the quiet as we took on a section of steeper steps, it all meant we were well-acclimatised for altitude and hardly had any effects whatsoever. Every day was different so there was never a dull moment and always something new to see - we even saw monkeys! The days spent in Kathmandu and Pokhara to top and tail the trip were the perfect intros and downtime to show two very different sides of Nepalese life. The food was fantastic - light, flavourful and satisfying. Have the momos and Dal Baht - you won’t regret it! Going during Nepalese Diwali (Tihar), made the experience even more magical to be honest. Fully recommend going then to get that added cultural experience as well! Just couldn’t have had a better two weeks away in the mountains (with a bit of culture thrown in) if I tried!

Molt recomanat!! D'entrada perquè en Gokul i alguns dels seus treballadors parlen molt bé el castellà i ens han ajudat amb totes les barreres lingüístiques que teníem tant a dins com a fora de l'hotel i en les visites/excursions.
En Gokul i el seu Staff són encantadors. Tenen un hotel que està situat en una zona molt cèntrica a prop de Thamel i de la parada de busos per anar a Pokhara/Chitwan.
L'espai és molt bonic i tranquil. Les habitacions són molt còmodes. I ens ha agradat molt en relació qualitat preu.
Ens han ajudat amb tot el que ens feia falta. Les excursions i visites guiades eren planejades per l'agència d'en Gokul i han estat una experiència increïble. El guía (en Siri) ens ha explicat fins l'últim detall de les històries de la ciutat. I l'excursió a Chitwan que ens ha planejat en Gokul ha estat una passada! Dues nits increïbles en una mena de resort amb piscina (molt bo qualitat preu) per viure l'experiència plena del safari i altres activitats en el Parc Natural.
En definitiva, en Gokul i el seu Staff ens han permès viure l'experiència nepalí en plena essència!

Kinzang was an excellent tour leader and along with our driver Ngawang made our trip very memorable. Kinzang was always informative and helpful, and Ngawang was an excellent and careful driver.
Our highlights:
1. The Punakha festival, which was a wonderful colourful spectacle. However you will be sitting for several hours on the paved stone ground so bring a cushion or mat to sit on.
2. Our walk up to the Tigers Nest Monastry. A challenging but rewarding trip. Kinzang was excellent and thoughtful in setting a pace to suit us all.
Bhutan is a beautiful country, with lovely friendly people.
