A fantastic week on Kilimanjaro. This was my 2nd attempt @ Kili after previously climbing on the Rongai route. I was under the misguided impression that this would be easier. How wrong! Each day was significantly harder than the Rongai route and in my mind the final ascent was just as hard as previously. It is a long day! It took me 9 hours to get to Stella point, another 5ish to get down, then a quick lunch break before the final 2-3 hour walk to Millenium camp. This trip is far harder than you believe it will be however you will form great friendships and ultimately have one of the most memorable weeks of your life.

This was most definitley the best trip of my entire life! What an amazing adventure. I was in two minds as to whether this was the trip for me, right up until I arrived I guess. The whole experience, from the people I travelled with, the inspirational guides and porters who looked after us, to the incredible feeling of reaching the summit, was just one that I will never, ever forget. Both Exodus and The African Walking Company inspired complete trust and confidence. Nothing was left to chance and, despite feelings of intrepidation about various points of the trip, I felt completely safe and thoroughly looked after. This is definitely a trip of a lifetime.

Very nice experience and organization. A warm welcome from the beginning, well organized trip, success to the top and back! The travel team delivered with very experienced guides, fresh food throughout the trip and an adjusted schedule to meet the level of our group. Only nice memories.
1) Airport pick up from Mount Kilimanjaro airport to moshi: excellent and on time. Eli is a safe driver.
2) 7day Lemosho route: guide, Good Luck, was professional and caring. Helped checked luggage pre-trek to ensure I have all equipment and clothing, potential risk assessment for the hike. Most importantly he helped me to reach the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro successfully despite being 4 hours later than everyone due to my slow speed.
3) Team: one guide, one chef, (Amos), one waiter (David). These were the main people who spoke to me. Great English. 4 porters who helped me as I was walking like a snail and had some slight toe injuries. Full team was very attentive to my needs and preferences of food, comfort level, questions about anything about Mount Kilimanjaro. Very friendly and patient crew.

I and my fiancée had an unforgettable experience in Africa. From the moment we arrived in Tanzania, we ware captivated by the stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and the sheer sense of adventure that surrounded me.
The safari lodge we stayed at was absolutely incredible, snuggled in the heart of the Serengeti National Park, it offered luxurious accommodations while still allowing us to feel connected to nature. The staff was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
Our game drives were the highlight of the safari. Led by knowledgeable and passionate guide named Regan, we were able to see an incredible array of animals in their natural habitat. We marveled at majestic elephants bathing in rivers, witnessed lions on the hunt, and came face to face with graceful giraffes. Each moment felt like something out of a wildlife documentary,

I recently had a trip on 10th September, 2025 and was one of the most attractive and lovely
trip I had ever since, because they are well-organized with well trained, punctual and knowledgeable tour guides. I booked a 4-day travel package to the coastal region through their office and from the beginning everything was handled professionally and friendly. The company arranged my transportation, accommodation and my all daily activities, making my trip more interesting and enjoyable.
The journey began early in the morning, with a comfortable tour Bus that was neat, air-conditioned and well-maintained and
serviced. Along the way the tour guide shared many interesting facts about the different places we went through, which made the long trip more enjoyable and unforgettable. When we arrived at our destination, the company had already reserved our hotel rooms and check-in was quick and easy.
Each day of the trip had a well-planned travel plan. We visited popular tourist attractions, including historical sites, beaches, and local markets that were available there. One of the favorite moments was the visit to a marine park, where we took a boat ride and saw dolphins, shark, Star fish. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, he was making sure always everyone was comfortable and having a good time on the trip.
The company also included group activities for example evening beach walks, cultural dances, and traditional dinners, which made experience even more memorable and unforgettable. I was really impressed by how organized everything was because
transportation was always on time, meals were delicious and safety measures were strictly followed.
What stood out most was the company’s attention to detail and care for their clients. They constantly checked in to ensure that we were satisfied and even provided assistance for anyone with special needs. To be honest I had a wonderful experience travelling with the travel team. Their excellent planning, friendly staff, and commitment to customer satisfaction made the
trip unforgettable. I would definitely travel with them again and highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable tour experience.

My husband and I decided to climb Kilimanjaro as part of our honeymoon trip to Tanzania. Our tour operator was absolutely brilliant from the word go! Our team, and especially our guides, Rashid and Osmani, went above and beyond to help us reach the summit. They were so friendly, professional and every detail was taken care of - including providing hot water bottles for our sleeping bags in the cold nights. Our guides were only too happy to show us extra insight about the mountain, as well as teaching us some Swahili! We couldn't have made it to the summit without their help and support. All 7 members of the team (porters, chef, waiter, guides) were keen to meet us and even performed a song for us, which was really moving. Although we spent less time with the porters and chef team, when we did see them they were always smiling and keen to talk to us, and did all their tasks with enthusiasm. The level of customer service we experienced was outstanding and we cant think of anything that could have been improved. We will have amazing memories of this trip, thank you so much!! We had an unforgettable experience last week on this tour. We were a group of 4 women with limited to some hiking experience. Anna and Stasia from the tour company were very responsive leading up to our booking. They were very easy and transparent regarding all the booking details. During the trip, our guides Baraka and Gerald were highly professional throughout our trek. They made sure that we were as comfortable as possible. This included all the small things, such as making sure we got enough lights for dinner and bringing more if we needed, as well as the big things, such as making sure that we summited! Baraka and Gerald were highly experienced as guides, and made sure to adjust their walking speeds to the individual needs of our group. They were also very personable, friendly and extremely approachable if we ever had questions (and we had many!). In addition, the rest of the crew (there were 20 people in total), that helped us were all highly attentive and very competent- we could not have done this without them. The food from our chef Justin was delicious - weve never had soup as creamy and eggs cooked the way he makes them- it stood out as unparalleled hiking food! Our server Benson told us really funny stories about his many trips in the mountains while he prepared dinner. The rest of the crew who worked behind the scenes tirelessly made everything seamless! We couldnt have asked for more. Some tips in addition to the other ones you may find online:1. Bring Vaseline - it gets really dry in the mountains so that would really help.2. It also gets very dusty in the mountain, so if you have dust allergies, you might need some medication. Even if you are not allergic to dust, it may be good to bring a bandana or something equivalent to keep off the dust.3. Rent the portable toilet!!! It is much better than the public restrooms, and relatively clean. Much more convenient if you need to go at night.4. Bring an extra roll of toilet paper- you wont need it for the toile if you rent the portable toilet, but it is useful if your nose runs because it gets cold.5. Bring extra hand warmers if you can. In addition to using them on Summit Day, some mornings are also cold. The crew does give you heated rubber bottles for warmth as well- so this is just for extra comfort.6. Bring mouthwash! Some nights are somewhat cold, so you may choose to mouthwash rather than do the full floss/brush. Makes you feel cleaner for sure. Same goes for disposable baby wipes in addition to a camping towel (quick dry so you dont have to use a wet one the next day!)7. Bring extra snacks if you can- the crew never will ask you for food, but we think they really appreciate it when you share. Same goes for anything else you think you can spare. Sharing is caring!8. Ask questions! We learned quite a bit about the mountains and the lives of our entire crew when we did- it was very rewarding learning more about the local culture and language.
