Lisbon Tours in September 2027

Highlights were Opera night with singing waiters, Flamingo and Fado plus Toledo and the Black Madonna at Montserrat. Our tour guide was excellent- very knowledgeable, articulate and caring. Our group was incredible compatible and we had great fun together.

Best of Portugal was a great tour. The tour director, *personal info removed by Feefo, was very knowlegeable. *personal info removed by Feefo, our driver, was amazing. How he managed to drive the coach down some of the narrow streets was incredible. The tour specialists in each are were so knowledgeable and the history was amazing. This was the first bus tour i have been on and it exceeded my expectations. I will travel with Trafalgar again.

I had excellent overall experience on this tour. The travellers were all friendly and welcoming (important to me as a solo traveller) and the Tour CEO was excellent in every way. Rui Lima is the 'gold standard' of Tour CEOs! I would highly recommend this tour to friends and family.

The trip followed the beautiful coastal route, the hotels were excellent and the restaurants and food was great. The guides were perfect: considerate, helpful, fun, informative and extremely attentive to all of our needs. There was variety in the route as well, we rode through villages, along the coast, through forests, and through marshes. Like minded people tend to do this tour so many friendships were made along the way. I opted for the electric bike and never regretted the choice - I was able to select how much effort I wished to make and was therefore not intimidated by the climbs and was able to enjoy the scenery.

Perfect tour for me. No early mornings. No long days spent on the bus and arrival at hotel in time to rest or explore before dinner. Visited beautiful villages and had amazing accommodation always! Fabulous bus driver and comfortable bus. Our tour guide Sonia was so informative, caring and put in so much effort to make every the best experience for our tour. Great trip…wonderful driver & tour leader..only glitch was with Goway who we purchased the tour through…they made a mistake when booking our requested extra night at end of tour which ended in Porto where we had tickets for train to next destination…they booked hotel over 100 km away but it said Porto on itinerary…luckily our Blue Roads tour leader told us where it actually was a few nights before…Goway didn’t want to admit their mistake and wanted us to pay for changing…worked out in end after much back & forth …we travel a lot…not sure would use Goway as booking agent again.
